We just returned from 10 days in Wyoming, and what an amazing place it is. The people, the culture, the scenery, all just so amazing. We took a day to look at property and plan to make an offer this week on some land outside of Cody.

While at Cody, we attended the Rodeo. They started it off with a prayer (so nice to hear a prayer at a sporting event), followed by Why We Stand. If you haven't heard it before, it's pretty powerful. Here's a video (not mine) and the lyrics are below.

WHY WE STAND by Maury Tate

At a local high school football game
There stood me and my daughter as the Anthem sang
She smiled at me as she held my hand
Asked me, “Daddy, why do we stand?”
From the Alamo to Vietnam…
For all the fallen soldiers, is WHY WE STAND
They gave their life so we could be free
Even if some today want to take a knee
To give your life takes a hell of a man
That is why I choose to stand
You can come and go as you so choose
And we’re all allowed our own point of view
A kid can be born without a dime to his name
But through hard work, gain riches and fame
We live in a country where neighbors will always lend a hand
That is WHY I CHOOSE TO STAND
Nine eleven was a beautiful day
Until those planes lost their way
Our first responders went rushing in
Some only to never be seen again
It was the saddest day of our great land
That is why I will ALWAYS choose to STAND
We’re the only country created in God’s great name
A place where everyone is treated the same
We don’t look at color, but the true heart of a man
That is WHY I CHOOSE TO STAND
When we see the colors of red, white, and blue
It stands for freedom for me and for you
It’s the greatest song ever sang by man
It gives us chills is WHY I STAND
You ask me why we stand today?
BECAUSE OF MY LOVE FOR THE USA

It was great visiting WY and seeing how genuine some people are about respecting our country and other people.

We spent a few days in Yellowstone while in the area on this trip. Unfortunately, many of the roads within the park are down to 1 lane due to construction, and with the heavy traffic it made for some long waits to get anywhere.

Wyoming, one of the last beautiful states before the california / new york type cucks
spread over and infect the place…

God bless America!
