I knew who Qaddafi was and what he has done for many years. I think you are the one that needs to unplug yourself from the internet.

I think you're underestimating this web site. Many of us remember Reagan bitch-slapping him in 1986.

I may be.

Do any of you really believe Libya or Gadaffi are a threat to the U.S.?

it's not about a threat to the US. bottom line, the soab is killing women and children because they want him out. the soab is responsible for US civilian casualties and has his hands in the cookie jars of many radical religious and militant organizations.

Let's see. We used over 100 bombs that cost over $250K a piece. We just lost a $20M aircraft. Let's not forgot the cost of getting their, troops, and other supplies. So we are into this for no less than $75Million in less than a week. $75M could do immense good here at home. We are not the world's bodyguard nor their big brother. Fix shit at home before you go looking to fix shit elsewhere.

Thanks Obamination!!!!

Correct. If we'd focus on our country, particularly repealing socialized medicine, cutting government, cutting taxes, and expanding on or even utilizing the domestic energy sources we have available to us we'd be on a MUCH better path. That's just a start.

Sounds like a good start to me. We have such a huge deficit because of your foreign aid programs and use of military force in places where we dont have a dog in the fight.

Hey if it wasnt for that mentality your chosen people would be exterminated ala Adolf Hitler and your precious pseudo homeland of Israel wouldnt exist either.

From the looks of things Israel is going to be a war zone soon.

We practically got dragged into both world wars, it wasn't until the post-war period that we somehow developed the mentality we had to give aid to every hurting country and butt into every little dispute going on in the world.

If we had the mentality to focus on stateside matters first, maybe we wouldn't have the issues of an aging infrastructure, massive trade deficit largely due to the importing of energy supplies, urban sprawl, a completely incompetent public transport system, etc...

Looks like the Supreme Allied Commander over the Libya conflict is going to be Canadian. A tip of America's hat.
