Yeah, but that vette is as good as it gets when it comes to the combination of handling 1.10g, straightline 11.2, topend and(exterior) looks from the factory. Plus they carry the same price tag new. I'm not sure if he bought a new or used one though.

New 3lz with 8 miles on it, 80k off the show room floor. I know the performance, i am just saying from a distace you really cannot tell the diffrence between a c6 vette and a zr1. The Vantage stands out more to me. Just saying.

chris knows what i wanted to accomplish by changing vehicles and i agree with him, although the zr-1 is a monster the vantage is more of a shock to see. in texas there are alot of corvettes but this is the first of any aston that i have seen on the street, seen plenty at a dealer but not any running on the big streets of houston:beer:

i don't think that most people spending this kind of money on a car are buying based strictly on numbers. the aston may be a half second slower than the 2011 5.0l GT to 60 and in the quarter, but i will take it over ANY other car in the price range. besides, we don't even want to bring up the interior, LOL.

the interior is unreal trappo:beer:

i have had the cars that made the numbers, this is just a whole different level. i feel like i have true exclusivity with this car, i know how that sounds but hey, that is what i was looking for:beer:

now you are going to be a 6speedonline.com junkie :)

That's where I hung out a lot, mainly Pcar guys there though.

Beautiful car sgt.d. The Aston is one of the prettiest cars on the planet with an exhaust note that is to die for. I strayed from Mustangs starting in 2001 with my first BMW purchase, a brand new 2001 BMW E46 M3. I almost bought a 2011 Mustang GT but ended up selling the Porsche and picked up this, gonna have to change my sig.

Can't wait to start stretching the tach out to 8400rpm!!

Sgt.d, trust me it just means you are getting older and want finer things in life.

i believe it was sold off in late 07-08. no it is not as fast in a straight line as the shelby but it does everything else she could not with ease, playing with a viper today and of course he had me on power but i stayed in front by being nibble.

it is definitely refined dave, now the one that has me wondering is the vantage v12, that would have to be a monster. good looking bimmer btw:beer:

that 20-80mph did not look very fast but I love the reverse tach sweep! but why would you change the exhaust anyway, it sounds perfect!

The aston and the Ford GT are my 2 dream cars

Ford still owns Aston right?
it wasnt that fast. my blown 3v was much faster. the reverse tach is def cool.

and no Ford sold Aston a few years back in 2007
