So this afternoon my wife and I went to pick up some pizza. There is a line of maybe a dozen charging stations in the parking lot. I noticed a line of cars in the parking lot and lo and behold, they were all EVs. EVs needing a charge and all the chargers were in use. My first thought was that here is a line of EVs waiting for a charge and we're not even experiencing a majority of EVs on the road. The majority are still ICE. I saw it as a snapshot of the future of EV ownership. I don't see any way the grid and number of charging stations will expand to the point where people won't have to struggle with charging on the road. I cannot imagine having to wait in a long line just to connect a charger, and then having to wait another 30+ minutes charging.
