headers are done and installed, 02's hooked up. just waiting on my new spark plug wires to come this week and I can start driving her!

and they even clear the steering shaft

got the car buttoned up tonight. Got the wideband working like a charm and the car running good.

and made new spark plug wires with 90deg ends to replace the multi angle ones that were touching the header.

just an update,

car is back on the road, hydro clutch is in but was a MAJOR PITA! Im still working out a few bugs with it. I also picked up some 24lb injectors to replace the 19s in the car now.

been working on getting the car up and running on the megasquirt, I got it running and driving and did some street tuning. The car pulls nice under WOT and sounds incredible. I made an appt to get the car tuned on the dyno later this week.

Ive been to a couple shows recently, I pulled a people choice award at one and a presidents choice at the other( only trophy given out and 1200 cars attended)

the amount of attention the car draws is crazy, sometimes its overwhelming. Everytime you stop somewhere people take pictures, ask questions, tell stories ext ext. Ive been followed into the gas station numerous times,been filmed by a state trooper with his cell phone on the highway, given tons of nods and thumbs up. I even had a guy follow me into the bank, not the parking lot, in the lobby! Its pretty wild.
