I've got to agree with Outlaw. An old man QB and a busted up TE. I guess it'll sell tickets...at least for a few games.
This will be an interesting season, just for this thread alone.
Can't wait to see all of the instant Tampa Bay fans.

A) I've always liked Tampa Bay anyway
B) Tampa was my 2nd team.
C) Tampa was my favorite NFC team
D) I really only watched NE because of Tom Brady anyway.

Disagree. They traded a guy who was never going to play a snap for the Patriots ever again for a 4th round pick. They didn't lose any assets. And for a team that's rebuilding, there's nothing more valuable than draft picks.

I'm a Brady and Gronk fan, but.....I don't see this season for them going all that well. As already pointed out, Brady's aging and Gronk is, well, busted up.
Trading a "retired" player for a draft pick didn't seem like a bad deal to me.

Yeah that was a good return for a guy that hasn't played in a year, and hasn't played a full season in a loooonnnnnggg time.
Can't help but think that this whole Brady Gronk thing is a PR stunt to sell tickets. I doubt we'll see much play out of Gronk.
I think there's a slight possibility of the both of them still have stuff left in the tank, no where near NE days.
I really am curious to see if Brady can make that offense that much better. Tampa has good players.
