bro… the point is Land Rover is more expensive than Jeep, whether good quality or not, good resale or not… if you compare them “apples to apples”, this is fact.
They are junk. Here's a few in the Northeast, in the $6k range. Most of the inexpensive ones will need a few grand in repairs. The air suspension is problematic, as is the anti theft, and BCM failures. The more expensive ones have usually had a lot of money spent on repairs, and the owners are sick of fixing one thing only to have another expensive failure a short time later. The 90s and older ones are built like tanks, and are actually more desirable.
