The B&E cat meme reminded of watching a youtube video of some kids who made a flame thrower from a super soaker and some lighter fluid. People were posting things like "they need to add some soap flakes" and such. I posted "what they need, is a cat." This, of course, sparked outrage. One woman posted, "Did you feel like a big man when you did that to that poor cat?" To which I responded, "Well, yeah, at least until the flaming cat ran under my neighbor's house..."

I knew my son's sense of humor was developing nicely when we were watching TV one night and an SPCA commercial stated that every 2 minutes, somewhere in America, a pet is abused. My son said, "I hope its a cat." Brought a tear of pride to my eye.
