My brother in law has two 6.0s
One is "old blue", it's a 2006 quad cab long bed with just about every power mod including an upgraded turbo. She's got 236k miles and still pulls strong (after several head gaskets lol)

The other is a 2006 Harley quad cab short bed. Not nearly as modded, but still respectable. (tune, muffler delete, etc) The Harley has 220k+ and habs been great for him as well.
All they have really needed (other than the head gaskets in old blue) is fan clutches and regular maintenance.

6.0's got a lot of bad press because of a poor EGR cooler that led to other problems. Delete or bulletproof the EGR, ARP head studs and light the ****in' fuse. Injectors, turbo, exhaust, tune and watch the **** out! Those engines are very efficient and will surprise a lot of "6.0 Powerjoke" idiots. Plus that 5R110W tranny is good for 1100 lb-ft of torque without any upgrades.

My 6.0
Searched for months trying to find a decent mileage one. Didnt want a 6.4 and didnt want a payment nor paying for a 40000 truck to jump into a low mileage 6.7.
Found this one with with 82000 miles and a 3 ring binder full of records including almost every fuel fill up!

Cobra slipped into the pic there too!

Actually saw one of those at the dealer. They were doing warranty work on the turbo. Only way to get to the turbo is to remove the whole body.

No way. I've removed the turbo on my bro in laws trucks without removing the cab (though we have removed the cab as well). I'm not saying it's easy, but it can be done. It has pull out of the area just right after you unbolt it.

Over any of these:
