Lmfao your the tool. Look at the other thread you posted/started. You supposedly had a source twin turbos ZOMG. A source then your source died. Then you wouldn’t name another source. You’re so full of yourself @DepWraith

If i want some actual good info I’ll listen to @DBK @13COBRA and some other people not your tin foil conspiracy’s. You did get a knob right though so bravo.

Lot of members here who love to make these comments, as if it gives them some sort of internet cred, but it actually makes them look like a tool.

You blithering idiots!! The man asked for number(s)!!! Where the hell are the MPG’s, fuel capacities, headlight widths, header bolt torques and the wattage of the headlights!!! What kind of forum is this where he has to specify what he wants?! The nerve of you people

Hmm, 9.5:1 compression and only 12psi.
Sounds like there’s a LOT left on table with boost and octane!
Still a chance they up the stock boost to 14-15psi like the last GT500, also at 9.5:1 on the 5.8

I just saw the compression today as well... 750chp, 650whp on 9.5+12psi? This thing is gonna be very boost friendly to the aftermarket

I don't know about anyone else, but there is no way I could shift my 13 as fast as this car. I would like to believe the video depicts a full throttle run, but if the torque comes on like the 2013-14, I can't see how the tires aren't smoking all the way though 3rd gear.
It looks like the redline is 7500 rpm.
I hope I get a shot at buying one of these cars.

460hp 5.0 @ 12/1

+.2L from bore (not stroke):

460hp/5.0L= 92hp/L.

92•5.2= 478.4hp. (Bore gains are superior to stroke gains so this is conservative math)

(478.4hp/12)•9.5=378.73

378.73hp(1+(12/14.7))=687.89hp.

688hp at the crank

688• 1.08 VE (typical of boosted coyote, and thus far we are very much discussing displacement, not fuel usage. That said we KNOW the coyote tuning game is spot on and fuel/timing/spark can easily be appropriately dialed in to maximize VE especially in boosted applications with high rpm airflow optimization. Optimizing fuel is much easier when oxygen is flowing near its zenith)= 743hp.

I’ve heard rumored of 725-740hp currently. Under 750.

Now
•10/1 and 13psi makes 807hp.
•9/1 and 13.5psi makes 783hp

Decisions decision.

Direct from an engineer driving the mule here in town, he states the catalyst durability is the main limitation to making huge power.
As before, he says they’re still working it for more.

If I recall correctly, wasn't this also an issue with the '13/'14 GT500s? I can't remember how they rectified the issue.

I like this. But why are you cutting the 5.2 hp down? its only 3pts of CR. I dont think thats worth 100hp.

Ford already stated 700+ and 12psi, so they achieved higher than the 688, even before final tuning. Your numbers are right, but i cant see it being 100hp, even NA. 2.5pts CR should be at most 60

If I recall correctly, wasn't this also an issue with the '13/'14 GT500s? I can't remember how they rectified the issue.

I was at SEMA in 2013 and had a healthy discussion with Dev Saberwal, a calibrator that was working with and for Ford Racing. They tried developing a kit to bump up power on the '13-'14 GT500. Sadly, they kept running into the same issue, burned exhaust valves and catalytic converter failures. They lowered their power goals for the kit but it got to the point where they felt it wasn't worth it and the kit was killed.

Of note, since the above kit was to have had a CARB EO number, it was required to pass Ford's durability standards as well as Federal emissions durability standards. This is where it struggled. In addition, I learned that Ford tweaked their own internal standards which allowed the 662hp production configuration to pass.

You can't outshift, strike that even keep pace shifting vs. a DCT.....sorry man.
