It took longer then expected, but we now have the vacuum formed ABS plastic shields ready to ship.

These are an exact copy of our popular Carbon Fiber heat shields, but in a black textured plastic.

They bolt to the apron panel and wrap around the filter to the frame rail.
Designed to fit all JLT RAI kits and may fit many others, but I can only confirm on the JLT kits.
I see lots of Cobras running no shield, I highly recommend running one to help keep IAT's down at idle and low speed.

Only $39 shipped, but don't forget to use our SVT code SVTP5% for a forum discount.

Thank you
Jay

looks great Jay! I will still probably get you cf version since I already have the radiator cover panel, but this is a great, cheap option for those just looking for a nice clean looking shield!

A nice, inexpensive option Jay. I can see why you developed it. Another great product from JLT. :)

Wont that hinder performance a little having the filter covered like that....my S&B is entirely too big for it either way

How does this thing fit? I recently installed my new JLT intake and the plastic heat shield that came with the kit was a PITA and didnt fit right so I didnt install it...

Would also keep the filter clean. The top of my filter gets so dirty

Also interested in pics with it installed. Curious if it will work with an aftermarket intercooler tank
