You may find yourself closer to 600 RWHP. Be careful 91 octane is tough.

I run a 4 Lb Lower and 3.5" upper, Gen. 1 Whipple, 40K miles and no problems on Whipple

Very nice write-up. I see the title as positive. I think a car like this can be overwhelming to a younger driver or someone just getting their life together. Anyone can build an amazing ride when money is no object. I think it is good for people to see that you can afford and have one of these cars without selling your kidneys :)

Congrats. What is done to the car?

Basically, I went from bone stock to whippled...the 2nd article that will be in another issue will pick up where this one left off after the break in period of the clutch.

Congrats! So how does this come about anyways do you write them about your car an they pick out of a bunch or...?

Honestly, I don't know the selection process...I sent an email and got a response a couple weeks later (totally wasn't expecting to hear anything back but I did!)
