I just want to say Shaun is the best thing to ever happen for us 5.0 guys. He owes me absolutly nothing and has given me every answer to all my dumb questions. I just hope we don't make him so busy he can't keep up! Keep up the good work Shaun !!
For u guys waiting for the auto tune Shaun is a perfectionist and they are being tested.

Well I'm liking everything I read about Shaun and his tunes. Hey Shaun come out to Fun Ford weekend in Bristol, TN in June and I'll put you up for the weekend and feed you, also get this tune I keep hearing about. If you don't wanna stay with me I'll work it out to get you a motel in between Knoxville and Bristol

I've been invited to the 5.0 shootout at MIR as well, but it's too damn far from me. It'd cost $1100 in diesel to trailor the car out there.
I may have to think about a more central location to work from..... ;)

Shaun, your always welcome out to Chitown. I would be honored to have you work out by me. For everyone who is skeptical about Shauns tunes, there is no reason to be. He has got a great handle on these Coyotes. He has helped me out a ton, and always takes time to educate if you don't understand. My hats off to Shaun, as he seems to always raise the bar for all tuners out there. Wish there were more tuners out there like him.

Im not sure why I torture myself reading these threads when I know I shouldnt get a tune with only 3,000 on the odometer. Its like watching porn and having to keep your hands on the keyboard.

Ive FELT what Shaun has done with MikeLTDLX's car. Im a believer.

dude, just do it!!!! I figure I want to enjoy my car and Im not sweating my warranty. Like I said before I completely trust him tuning my car and the only thing that really held me up from tuning it was the #8 issues and he knows how to fix it. Now take your hands off the keyboard and get it! lol

I guess Im less concerned about the engine as I am about the transmission...IF the transmission lets loose, I would imagine they would check the computer to see if its been flashed and blame the extra power on a failure?

Okay, Unzipping my pants....

I guess by 3,000 miles I would have seen a hint at a problem by now right????

I really do want an off road X too...
I have had zero oil consumption at 3,000 miles, no grinding in the transmission

Give shaun a call before you do anything. Get all the info you need before you pull the trigger.

After reading alot about the tunes, some people are talking about problem pcm codes/calibrations. Is there a list for these pcms? My pcm is ZKDO.

I've currently got a Steeda tune but very interested in an AED tune, even if just for a comparison. Shaun has been fantastic to deal with thus far, answering my many questions. With that said, I would think there is only so much one can get out a car with minimal mods, over another tune. I get that he can certainly fine tune, make adjustments, get a car running better than just a tune without all the specifics. I read that guys are going nuts on the power they have after the AED tune and I love that what's his face ran in the high 11's with 3.31 gears and no cats with his tune. I read the same thing about Steeda tunes...wow, incredible gains, car is a monster. I don't know about that lol, mine felt good, car runs great but I've bolted on a supercharger and gained 120+rwhp and 100+rwtq torque and that's a wow :burnout: I have no track around me and only one dyno and I'm not sure what kind of dyno software they have but I'll re-dyno to compare.

I waited until about 2k was on the clock and then put on an off road H and a tune. I'm at 5k now. I worry about losing the factory warranty, but I'm hoping that any problems would have reared their ugly heads by now. And I'm confident that if anything does appear, it won't be motor related.
