Two in 25 years.
One when I was 17. 62 in a 50. I found out a few years later that my parents had an HP Sgt. friend of theirs drop the ticket after I already went to court.
Second was when I was 24. Out for a Sunday 7am cruise on one of the county's back roads. Dropped the hammer, for what it's worth, in my '93 T-Bird SC, got it to 135 or so, started to slow down for a curve, and whaddya know!! Lawman comes around the curve, pegged me doing 85 in a 55. He asked me "Son, do you know how fast you were going?" I said "A lot slower than I was going before you came around that curve". I got it plead down to faulty equipment by getting my speedo calibrated. $350, and done. No court.

If you breathe wrong in VA, it's a criminal reckless driving charge (10 over on the interstate, anyway).
I've had four, one thrown out, one where I didn't do it but ultimately proved myself an even bigger idiot than the cop, by not realizing that I had only a week to send the ticket in with my intent to plead not guilty. First two tickets I got I was guilty as hell.
Here's my CSB for every time I've been pulled over, all nine of them since I first got behind the wheel of a Plymouth Sundance drivers' ed car in 1991.

I cant list how many Ive had! Sadly license has been suspended TWICE, 30 day and 60 days for points.
I know at 26 I have 5 full pages of police reports(tickets) 32 when a cop buddy ran my record back then! 8 years later I cant tell ya HOW many, I know that I could've bought a decent car with all the fine money Ive shelled out

Only one that went on my record was plate/registration. Was having issues from the state getting the title to the vehicle and had to move it.
I've had pretty good luck considering how I have driven in the past.

Not really sure to be honest, I haven't looked into it much.
I suppose I could fight it in court and chances are the officer wouldn't show up over something really minor, but I got the ticket coming home from visiting my old room mate in a county a few hours away, so not sure it would be worth taking time off work and the drive back to take a chance that he wouldn't show over an $87 ticket.
2 tickets, 110 in a 55 twice. The 8500 & 9500 have saved me far more times than i can ever imagine.

Now the other 14 years is a different story, some where around a 100 that's a guess but it was bad. Speeding, careless driving, reckless driving, No DL due to suspended lic, Operating a motorcycle on one wheel, " Subject was doing a wheelie, subject had female passenger on back". Those are just quotes I remember being on tickets. Insurance used to be out of hand but is way better now.
I'm pretty sure I should have a road or an over pass named after me

I'd try to find out whether tickets for 1-5 over tend to hold up in your local court or not.
I have only one, but have only been driving for 6 years. It was a 60 in a 45, the past 3 years I've been using a Escort 8500 and it's saved me countless times.
Overall been pretty lucky especially with trips to Mexico, hope it says that way knock on wood.

I just left the house earlier and I was running a little late so I set the cruise on 85mph got pulled over by a sheriff. My wife is laughing the whole time saying you have the worst luck. Got a warning 85 in a 70 whew..... I should go buy a lottery ticket!
