I've had 5, 46 in a 25, 60 in a 45, driving an unregistered vehicle (newly acquired Cobra). Parked vehicle with no inspection. Blocking a fire hydrant (someone else parked my car). Managed to handle all in a way that kept points off my license and my car from being towed. Had a couple thrown out, and one paid for by another company.

I've talked my way out of a several incidents while pulled over; 76 in a 55. Driving with no inspection. 50 in a 35 leading up to a left turn with no signal while going through a blinking red 4 way intersection. A tow phoned in for where someone parked my car, a tow for driving an unregistered vehicle. One I don't know what exactly the ticket would have been but the officer saw me continually accelerating away from him at a distance. Evading a police checkpoint. Burning rubber across an intersection.

I was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Forgery for an altered school parking pass I had in my car during college. A local law school represented me for free, charges were dropped. I handled the University myself, they also wanted blood. By the end the Head of Judicial Affairs offered to let me ride to the campus with her every morning for the rest of the semester. I was banned from parking there for life. I still have the $15 ticket they put inside my car when the police opened it for a search before towing.

I'm 28, I've driven close to 400,000 miles. Nearly everything above occurred before I was 23.

- 3 Speeding
- 1 Inattentive Driving

I was really bad in my younger days. I once got three in one weekend. But..........I haven't had a ticket of any sort in 11 years.

I've been driving 45.5 years.

Number of tickets in that time. Appx 7

Beat all but three. Those I didn't care about because I was self employed and making too much money to waste my time going to court.

Didn't care about number of tickets on my record since my cars were owned and insured by my business.

Waaaay too many in 42 years of driving. I read my rap-sheet only recently and it was like holys---! Many of them were from my youth and I don't even remember them. I really don't drive like a jerk or mad lunatic in traffic...just a bit too fast at the wrong time. Roads around me are marked way too slow for the relative rural nature of the area. Lots of open farm land, but max speeds of 40 mph in most areas. 50 or 55 would be entirely reasonable. Needless to say I've pushed too hard on occasion. Last biggie was 70 on a wide open stretch posted for "40". Didn't even feel that fast. I pulled over before the officer even hit his lights. I am always courteous. I was lucky he wrote me down quite a bit. Prosecutor cut me a break to just 2 points. I've learned to take it down a few notches these days. I've never street raced and never will. I can see competitive natures getting way out of hand in those situations, then civilians are at risk.

What none for zero? i've been driving almost 7 years had two warning's at a check stop for no registration in the car in my corvette and no tail lights in my old s*it box gmc which i didn't know they were out. I ain't no saint but i try to not speed w/o my radar detector and try to drive smart and be very aware.

Had my Cobra since I was 15 and have been pulled over 3 times. Two were accusing me of not wearing a seatbelt which they saw that I was once they pulled me over and a third was for getting on it a little after a stop light by myself so I just let the cop know my car was stumbling in town and he let me go lol. Not getting any tickets has really helped my insurance

44 yrs old - driving since I was 15

3 for speeding in Co
2 for speeding in Cali
1 for speeding in Utah
3 for speeding in NC
1 for speeding in Japan

Last stateside ticket was in NC - 87 in a 45. The LEO was so upset I thought I was going to have to call an ambulance for him. He screamed at me for a good 5 minutes- SMDH. Put reckless driving on top of the speed. My lawyer was amazing though - got the ticket dropped to 3 over, no reckless. I had to go to a school, paid court costs, and the lawyer of course - was just under a grand. Worth every penny I might add.

Here in Japan I got a ticket in July for doing 71 kph in a 50. $260 ticket!:mj::shrug:

A lot.

Probably 25-35 in my twenty six years of driving. But most of those were in my first ten or so years of having my license. I go years inbetween tickets now.

Although i've been clean now for a few years besides non-moving violations, the last attorney I had to hire told me he's never seen a worse driving abstract. Some how i've never lost my license either lol. I guess that's due to paying a shit load of money to attorneys over the years. What's funny though is about 14 years ago when my sister was 18 she got three speeding tickets in one year and lost her license for a year. That was right after my parents bought her a brand new mustang for her HS graduation present haha.

Now you just know the tricks to not getting caught ;)

I've actually been stopped 3 times since becoming a Trooper. Twice was in Southampton or Isle of Wight County because their 2001 county decals looked similar to Chesapeake's 2002 city decals, and then once recently because I had a brake light out on my Exploder by a Hanover Deputy. I honestly can say the two I listed have been the only times I have been stopped for speeding.
