Tired of driving what every soccer mom in town has (expedition) found this 1 owner beauty in IL. 94 year old man bought it new, had every service record including window sticker ($18750 new) serviced it very regularly, and didn't drive it in the snow. 1989 Country Squire 110000 miles.

Have plans for it... 17 or 18" wheels, dual exhaust, and tint for now.

My first car was an ‘89 Grand Marquis LS.

Secretly want to find a clean one and bring it home to surprise my wife (so she can promptly divorce me).

That’s a clean one.

We had the 86 Mercury model when I was growing up.
White with wood grain, and blue velour interior. That torque from that 302 though. You know Dad had glasspacks on it too.

Note on dual exhaust.
Make sure you have the tailpipes turn off behind the rear tires. You don't want the exhaust exiting straight out the back when you have that big rear window rolled down. Ask me how I know.:D

I might suggest 200MM spacer for the rear. I am of the age where I grew up with these. Good memories. I would have fun cruising in one of these.

Nice find

Holy sh........that is the perfect sleeper project, with a couple sets of turbo mufflers and a crap ton of power and it'd be a riot for a road trip.
