Hello Everyone,

As some of you know I went to Phoenix for Thanksgiving. I ended up going to Phoenix early in order to attend the Good Guys National car show. I have never been to a National level car show event before. I did "not" take any of my cars. There were some VERY nice and high level cars there.

My 65 couldn't touch some of those builds, but then again there were some cars there that I believe I could have held my own against LOL. I had a blast.

Here are pictures from the event.

These are some of the National level builds. I can't remember the exact categories of the cars, but they were like Hot Rod of the year, Muscle Car of the year, Builder of the year, etc.

A vendor was selling these taillight panels. I wanted one for my man cave, but at almost $1,800 bucks I needed the money for my new Fox Body purchase.

If you guys ever get a chance to make it out to the Good Guys event I highly recommend it. Some really cool cars. They even had an autocross event as well. Lots to see....

Nice pics Glenn thanks for sharing. I really wanted to go to the one in Columbus this summer. But I had to work and missed it. It’s on my list to make it though.

Sorry you missed it Patrick. The good thing is it's an annual event. So, you might be able to make it next year.

Great pictures!

The only thing I don’t get about some of the builds you see at these events is that you know the cars are never driven and essentially pushed on and off trailers.

It’s been like that at car shows for decades, always a few that go from garage to the trailer to the show and back again.

That "lead sled" is sweet! As is the '41 Willys Coupe. Actually, they're all really excellent rides. A lot of older classic muscle cars with modern motors. Sounds like you had a blast. You mentioned that you and your step-daughter got up early to get to the Show early. Did you go to the Show at 8:00, when it opened?

I was actually there at 8:30 Bob. Was watching cars still roll in. Then we went to the vendor tent and then went and watched some autocross. Got something to eat and then wondered through the show cars.
