im sorry, i dont recall. all i remember about that weekend is the chick with the giant rack that worked the food stand at the top of the hill on turn 7. she had to be at least a 38dd.

Get her in any of your pictures?

Did you end up going todoay (Sat)?

One of the BMWs (the one the ABS which now makes my post relevant to this thread:D ) did a huge burnout for pit stop competition. It was amazing. Never really seen an ALMS car blow off such expensive tires like that.

If i got pics of her, they're probably in there somewhere. Although I do try and take most of those kind out so i dont look any more like a dirty old man than i already do.

nope, stayed home and worked in the yard. real life has kept me away from the track for much of the summer.

I've just got to get banjo bolts and a front and rear stainless line kit.

And a set of race pads...

Ive read the entire thread and had a couple questions...

Now I know the Eradispeed rotos wont work with 00R calipers.... i was wondering if the wilwood 2 piece rotor conversion for cobras would work with 00R Calipers?
Heres a link:
http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Pages/16/index.asp

and wheres the cheapest place to buy 00R calipers? I actually like the RS Focus Calipers more( the silver ones pictured above), and the cheapest price Ive found those were ~$750.00...

I don't know about the two piece question...
But the Focus RS I was able to get from BuyFordRacing.com I don't know if they are going to want break up Focus kits all the time, but because the Cobra R kits were still on BO... when I called they helped me out.
2 Focus RS 4 piston Brembo calipers plus 2 PLAIN Brembo 13" Cobra rotors. No lines, no banjo bolt... but a nice price.

They really stepped up to the plate. I had previously bought some wheels from them and had been calling a few times asking about the R kits... and when they might be off back order.
They offered to break the kit....... I DOVE ON IT!!! :pepper:

What pads did you end up with?

I don't have them yet... but if they are out of a broken up Focus RS set... I'm sure they will be the Focus pads with the pins on them.

I'll just knock the pins off and use those for street pads. Then when they are gone I'll get the normal Y2K R Galphers from FRPP for the street.

Gotcha. The guys that ordered the calipers from Steve @ Tousley got the Cobra R Galphers sent after the fact with all the hardware because the calipers were empty.

What kit was broken up? As far as I can tell the Focus RS caliper kit was simply loaded calipers intended as an option for the RS conversion kit. They dont come with rotors because the rotors are in the RS conversion.

Is there something I have overlooked (probably)?

I believe the new kit is the complete RS stuff front and rear rotors, 4 piston front calipers whatever the rear calipers are and all the supporting goodies.
Instead of just a caliper upgrade...

I think...

It can be.... since Ive seen some websites selling the focus rs brake kit for close to a grand with front and rear calipers, lines, pads, and then ive seen some places selling just calipers for $750, I dont even know if they come with pads....

ok.... I had another question.... is the stock brake line fitting correct for 00R/RS calipers, or do you need a new style fitting?
I ask this because the wilwood brake rotor kit comes with new SS line that fit stock brakes, and if it fit the 00R/RS brakes that would make it so much easier.

I received my Focus RS calipers and the pads included were in a separate box with clips and stuff.
The pads are Cobra R pads w/o the pins like the Focus RS has.
So it looks like they are still shipping w/o the pads and my guy plugged a set of Cobra R Galphers in with the Cobra plain rotors to round out the package.. which is good. It is what I wanted all along.

Now I just need a set of race pads, banjo bolts and stainless lines and I'm ROCKING!!:pepper:

You found AP Racing porn. I didn't even know a kit existed. I think the Stoptechs may not be first on the list anymore. Just need to find out what calipers, so I can talk to the trackside AP Racing man at the next race.

Sorry for totally forgeting to finish my posting. Maybe I'll get some time in Mosport this coming weekend.

Damn...scratch what I said above. They only run the stock size rotor in the kit...not the 32mm wide one that Stoptech uses.:cryying:
