...that the Mustang Mach E should have been called the Maverick - specifically - Maverick Lighting? Ford could have used the "Lightning" designation on all the EV versions of each model. F150 Lighting is a perfect example.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Mach E as a vehicle, just not loving the name.

IMHO, Ford has made several naming missteps lately. The Maverick pickup should have been the Ranger, and the Ranger should have been the F100.

There are so many names the could have brought back. I think they were trying to cash in on the Mustangs’s popularity.

I probably wouldn't have been so against it if they had gone a direction other than making a 4 door momuv and calling it a mustang. Around here, 99% are mom's cruising around.

It definitely shouldn't have been called, "Mustang", that's for sure.
It's a soulless machine, unlike an actual Mustang.

Ford should do what they did with the Five Hundred and do an about face and rename it to something it should have been named from the start.

Rename it the Fusion...since you killed that car off stupidly.
