Almost New Upper Only Record!

I've been trying for the past year to go 10's with my 2.76 Cobra on these crappy 275 M/T Drag Radials. My best friend (SvTDsG) let me use his 28in. Hoosier Slicks today and I owe him big!

126 is an impressive trap speed to say the least for your mods. I like the front wheel/tire combo what are they?

The car weighs 3420 without me in it. I'm light at 150. Had a little over 1/4 tank of gas on both passes. The car is full interior (even still has spare tire/jack) with only weight reduction being the wheels and solid axle swap.

Yep car made 489rwhp and 517rwtq std on a mobile dyno this summer at Mustang Week. Tune hasn't been touched since.

Record is 10.76! I think I can do it but its a pretty stout record in my opinion. Going to have to get the 60' down into the 1.40's to do it.

Thanks man! Car trapped 120mph with the stock upper with intake and solid axle swap. My intentions all day were to run in the 6's and in the 10's! They are 17X4 Weld Racing Alumastars with M&H Racemaster Tires.

And that is the highest dyno numbers I have ever seen for an upper only car. Race tune?

Well done!

It weighed 3420 with the slicks and skinnies on it. Both of the front wheels with tires weight less than one factory wheel with tire. Oh I also have the front sway bar out which is around 12-14lbs.

No race tune. Tuned on 93 pump with 23 degrees of timing. They are std numbers and the dyno is rumored to read a little high. I don't race with dyno numbers though just the numbers on the time board at the end of the track.

My IRS car with 17"s weighed 3620 without me in it and a 1/2 tank of gas, he weighed his car with his wheel and tire combo 17x4 up front 15x10.25 with 275/60 M/T drag radials out back with a 1/2 tank of gas.

Da was around 300ft yesterday at Rockingham and the track prep was horrible...I have no doubt that the car at MIR would go some 10.50-10.60's....CobraStruck is a driving mofo and knows what it takes to make these cars run a number...He makes use of every bit of power the car makes....twin screw cars better be on their game if they line up next to him

Thanks for putting me on the list Dwight I've wanted it all year! Your right a little more weight reduction would help! I'm going to swap in a K-member and a few more rear suspension tweaks this winter and see where that puts me in the spring. My personal goal is a 10.6X.

Dang son a 7.30 is getting it done. A 7.30 is around an 11.30 in the 1/4. Thats still impressive for street cars like ours making in the mid to upper 400's. Congradulations! I've been watching you and its been getting better and better everytime you go! Keep it up.
