How can some b that fast unported ? I ran 11.32 124 ported . Are car stripped down to nothing ?

My car has Slicks and Skinnies, Solid Axle Swap, and Tubular A-arms with coil overs in the front. It has the full factory interior along with the spare tire and jack still in the trunk. Car weighed 3420 in this configuration with 3/8 of a tank. That is also without me in it. I race with 3/8 of a tank and I weigh 150. Only other weight savings I plan to do are a k-member.

I was also looking at you HP numbers in your sig. My car made 489rwhp and 517rwtq at Mustang Week in the heat of the day. These are STD numbers and on what some say are a high reading dyno but running these times makes me its close.

He was on my 28x10x16 Hoosier slicks. I ran 11.33@123 unported full weight with the IRS. I am also hoping to run in the 10.'s unported with my solid build.

Da was around 300ft yesterday at Rockingham and the track prep was horrible...I have no doubt that the car at MIR would go some 10.50-10.60's....CobraStruck is a driving mofo and knows what it takes to make these cars run a number...He makes use of every bit of power the car makes....twin screw cars better be on their game if they line up next to him

Horrible track prep at Rockingham, no way. :rollseyes

The past few times I have gone it has been bad. And if any type of fluid spills on the track be prepared to wait 45min+ for them to get it fixed.

Anyways, those are some great times. I thought the track closed already?

The car weighs 3420 without me in it. I'm light at 150. Had a little over 1/4 tank of gas on both passes.

^ That right there depresses me, I need to do some serious weight reduction. Mine weighed in at 3875 with me at MIR back in November. I weigh 200-205. Mine was full weight, plus brembo big brake kit, 18s and strut tower brace.
I want my 10 sec slip this year, but mine is ported:(.

It can easily be done with the power your car is making. Posi does a great job with his ports so I know the potential is there. My car with me it weighed a total of 3570. Thats a 305lb difference in my car and your car. My solid axle and after market drag wheels was probably a little over 200lbs of the weight that was removed. The rest was just suspension components. My car is always gonna be full interior from the dash back to the spare tire and jack. If you do some suspension upgrades and drag wheels/tires there is no way you can't hit 10's!!

I have not been able to find a "SURE" drag combo that clears my 2000R 2piece big brake kit. That has been my problem with shaving that easy 80lbs. I am sure the light weight suspension mods will come in the future. But for now Im stuck with the 18s in the front. I just purchased 2- 16in 95GT wheels that I will run 26-11.5 M/T ETs on. So hopefully with my current power, currently installing the FTBR kit, QA1s for rear, and killer chiller... I hope to get close to a 10.99.

I've been trying for the past year to go 10's with my 2.76 Cobra on these crappy 275 M/T Drag Radials. My best friend (SvTDsG) let me use his 28in. Hoosier Slicks today and I owe him big!

60' 1.579
330' 4.533
1/8th 6.981
MPH 101.20
1000' 9.078
1/4 10.858
MPH 126.09

And to back it up!

60' 1.559
330' 4.498
1/8th 6.948
MPH 101.38
1000' 9.044
1/4 10.815
MPH 126.84

I haven't been posting much about my progress this year because I haven't been very happy with my results. I know now that I'll be dumping these drag radials for some slicks!

Good gawd that is moving out for your setup bro. Congrats:beer:
