Are they actually called "brass monkey wheels"? I feel like that's an obvious tie in to a certain FCA sponsored reality TV show.

Congrats on the virtually brand new 3 year old car, and kudos on getting the 6spd.

NIce car OP. I’m looking at one very similar.

How is the manual in the hellcat? What are your impressions?

I would probably buy a manual as well. I like the experience shifting and as an added bonus no one seems to want the m6 hellcats so you can get them for cheap.

Kinda what I thought as well. OP, didn't you sell someone a turd?

Nice car regardless.

LOL beat me to it.

I never sold anyone a "turd", in fact I actually sold someone a beautiful car. My old Cobra never was a burden on me and I have numerous people that can vouch how nice of a car it truly was (and not people who only saw pictures, but friends of mine who helped me install every modification to that car). The gentleman who bought the car did not have good luck with it and I'm not sure why. I'm not going to get into it and I don't want to de-rail this thread. I think he bought a 13 year mustang and was upset it wasn't like a brand new car.

I am a very honest and respectful guy and take pride in my reputation. I have never and would never do anyone wrong. I feel bad that the guy who bought my car hated it because I loved that car very much and took a lot of pride into how clean and beautiful it was. That car ran like a raped ape and sounded fantastic. I got compliments on it everywhere I ever went and it put a smile on my face every time I drove it. I actually miss it dearly. It actually pisses me off that he goes around bad mouthing me saying that I sold him a "turd" because I would never rip someone off and don't want my reputation to be burdened over something that wasn't my fault. I was actually as open and honest as I possibly could be with that car. It was mechanically fine when I sold it. He can believe me or he can't, and so can you and anyone else who wants to make stupid posts about my karma.

Beautiful looking is one thing and nobody is doubting that. Honesty would have been notifying him before he bought it that it had a timesert in it and that it had leaked as well.
Hope the dealer didn't withhold any of that information from you...

Lmfao, I'm not going to start shit in this thread, but you sold me a car with a timesert that wasn't installed correctly and came out when I tried to change plugs and you didn't tell me about it. The timing cover was leaking like crazy, the belt was squealing away, the car wouldn't start when it was hot and I'm not going to dive into everything else.

To be honest the part I was most pissed about is you told me "the car was perfect and needed nothing". Had you been honest I wouldn't have cared. Anyway enjoy your new car. I'll leave it alone.

As far as the timesert goes, I honestly forgot about it. I had the car for 5 years and I spent hours upon hours writing that for sale thread trying to think of every single thing that I did to that car. It was bound to happen that I forgot something. I never intentionally kept that a secret from you like you make it out to be. It’s also one of most common occurrences on terminators.

So the timing cover was leaking? I cleaned that engine bay after every time I washed that car. I painted the pulley bridge and all those pieces on the front of the engine and never once was it leaking. Don’t want to believe me? Then don’t.

The car wouldn’t start when it was hot? I live in CT and the car was tuned in New Hampshire and you live in Arizona. It was probably a tune issue.

I know people with terminators with 5,000 miles on them and they’re burdens. They’re old cheap fords but people love them for what they are and I did for sure with my car. At the end of the day it’s a 14 year old mustang so no matter how good condition they’re in or how low of mileage they were, they’re bound to have issues at some point or another.

It’s a shame you had bad luck with that car and hated it because it was always good to me. That car always ran like a top every time I drove it.

The part I’m upset about is you’re making it out to seem as if I intentionally was holding back on things to rip someone off. Wasn’t the case. The timesert was put into the car 2-3 years before I sold it and it never once gave the car an issue again so I never even thought about it after that. A local Mustang Shop Mustang Madness in Portland CT installed it for me when he did the long tubes on my car. The plug blew out on my way to his shop. Like I said, he fixed it and it never gave the car a problem so I never even thought about it after that. IF I had remembered I would have disclosed that information to anyone buying the car and would have put it in the for sale ad.

That car was parked for 5 years in the same garage on a concrete floor and never once did it ever leak a drop of anything.

So once again, you guys can think whatever you want but I never intended to lie to anyone. You make me out to be a scum bag but I’m not. Making petty posts about this entire scenario in a thread that has nothing to do with the guy that bought my old terminator is childish. If you want to actually discuss this matter, emailed me, call me on my cell phone, call me at work. PM me for my contact info if you wish.

It really doesn't matter any more. I always wanted a 04 cobra and I really wanted to enjoy that car but it gave me headaches at every turn. Shame on me for buying modified cobra I guess and sorry I have nothing but bad things to say about it and yes I should have looked the car over in person before I bought it. Oh well shit happens.

Nice Hellcat, Ray. I'll be keeping an eye out for you this Spring and Summer. Maybe I'll get to connect with you and take a closer look at it. That one badass ride! Enjoy it!

If it really doesn’t matter any more I’m not sure why you would constantly bring it up.

Sounds like you have an excuse for everything that is thrown out there. I have owned my car since 1999 and every time something happened to it I certainly remember it. Regardless if it is a common problem or not. But hey, thats just me.

So if you intended to lie to him or not, fact is you withheld information that certainly was critical in the decision of buying the car. If it wasn't on purpose its still negligence.

As for being childish... maybe but would discussing the issue in person with you do much? Didn't do much for Steve now did it? Someone made the comment on here about you selling someone a turd and you denied it. Im just chiming in because the fact that it wasn't a turd may be true but it wasn't all that you hyped it up to be either, it wasn't "perfect, needing absolutely nothing".

People should know if you ever go to sell this thing you may "forget" some things that happened to it. Not saying you're a scumbag, but maybe people buying stuff from you should look a little harder and closer because you may forget.

Lol I don't constantly bring it, but when people ask me about the car I tell them about my experience and it wasn't a good one. Maybe I was just to meticulous to own that car.
