Great Video, I think your car rocks, I have more bolts on's than you, but those gears you have are killer. I am purchasing my D1SC next friday, What do u think I will run in the 1/4 mile with 450RWHP and 4.10 Gears with Drag Radials?

Meh, prob low 14s...

Using someone elses cars, not paying for tires? And the course depends on where you go, I attended at Michelins Laurens Proving grounds, it was a real road course. Also did wet skidpad and an autocross on 1/2 of the black lake.

Beverun, Lime Rock, Road America? Not cones in a lot, those places.

I know NASA offers a lot, this is not that, but still a bargain. Most folks wont make the commitmant to join NASA or SCCA, and cant afford a few hundred for tires just to run.

My car (I prefer to use my car) at courses such as

Road America
Road Atlanta
Nashville Motorspeedway
Barber Motorsports
Gingerman
IRP
Putnam
Waterford Hills
VIR
TIS
etc
etc

It is called SVTOA. Been doing it for years.

Snake, thats my point. Some folks do a lot of track stuff, lots dont. Many folks would never think of driving thier own car on the track. Or put forth the exspense of doing so. I only presented this for those folks. For soemone like you, its obviously not a good deal.

One thing you might look into is Lake Effect Racings track days, since I see two GA area tracks on your list. Dale Seeley sets them up, I think it usually ends up under $200 a day, and its real track time in your car, not like the STE at all. Much more your style.

Whoops, forgot the link

Apparently the best a stock 99-01 Cobra can do stock is mid to high 13's.

Re: SRT8 Vs. 99 SVT Cobra

Now, the "New Edge" 99-2001 Cobras, seem to be maxxed out stock about mid-high 13s, say 13.7ish. That blower makes a huge difference. The 03-04 didnt get the nickname Terminator by being a pushover

As always, I use averages. Not the fastest time ever quoted. Are these numbers wrong? I drew those from here, and am willing to listen to facts that dispute those numbers. Are there such cars running better than mid 13s stock? By stock I mean stock, not Drs, or gears, or other such things, but right from the floor.

I have 4.56s, and I shift into 3rd around 60, 4th around 100, and 5th around 123mph.

I LOVE these gears

Dam so not much a difference between 410s and 456 because I havt to hit 3rd at 62 mph

"MAXXED OUT" would indicate the best not an average. :nono:
max ( P ) Pronunciation Key (mks) Slang
n.
The maximum: The car can seat five adults, but that's the max.

adj.
Maximal.

adv.
Maximally: We'll pay $250 max.

intr.v. maxed, max·ing, max·es
To reach one's limit, as of endurance or capability: The weightlifter maxed out at 180 kilograms.
To reach a point from which no additional growth, improvement, or benefit is possible: The salary for this position maxes at $45,000.

I did toss a "seems" in there, but anyway? But we'll play anyway. mid = .5, correct? Please to inform me of the number of stock 99s running 13.5? And the number hitting 13.7s?

What would you consider the correct number?
