Thats amazing considering the Gen 3 5.0 already has a much fatter mid range than the 11-17 motors.
What all did they do to the Bullitt motor over the standard Gen 3?
Very cool.
GT350 manifold and CAI, along with tuning.

I probably won't be able to afford the GT500 for some time so the 350 definitely has my interest peaked still. It looks great and I love the sound and the thought of revving it out to 8250rpm.
I'm glad they make both, gives the buyers options. If theres a mustang nobody cares about it's the bullitt mustangs.
Shit is changing my friend, and I don’t need the man pedal anymore.Plus it has a man pedal unlike the new GT500.
I guess I should have clarified my statement slightly, a loaded 18/19 GT will be 90% a 350, and im not talking about looks wise or resale value, obvious the 350 will hold value much better and looks worlds better ( the only S550 including the new GT500 I like the looks of is the GT350). Also another point you mentioned on the 18/19 being rated at 460 HP which is pretty well documented that they are underrated (probably to sell more 350s) are actually closer to 480-490
GT500 finally has a proper transmission so we don't have to hear the excuses why the car is slow . The man pedal became a one big exusomatic lately with the power cars make these daysPlus it has a man pedal unlike the new GT500.

Dude these guys will never know. They wont even take their current car to a track day. I think very few even take it to the drag strip. The reason they think its not impressive is they prefer straight line performance.I really do not agree, but I have a GT350 and I try not to let that cloud my judgement in these types of discussions. I will give you three things to think about.
1. The Voodoo on track is amazing. i have two track days now and the way it winds and pulls in the upper RPMs is glorious. I hope to hit VIR soon and am very anxious for that. I still love the Coyote and man those things are nasty with the slushbox but the Coyote would not be nearly as good on track.
2. The A-pillar forward is completely different changing the geometry completely and thus changing how the car acts in a corner. The turn in and bite for these cars is nuts. I admit I have not driven the PP2 but I have driven an 18 GT and the way the front reacted was quite numb and I suspect it would have a tendency to plow when pushed. I am speculating here, but you have to feel the 350 in a turn.
3. The tranny alone gets you 10%. Not just that it is stronger but the gearing is crazy good. Fifth still has pull left in it and sixth is cruising only.
I just think that the cars are not 90% close at all. I say this fully understanding that there are drivers out there better than me who own a PP2 or a regular GT that have the talent to smoke me on a road course.
Harley' proved faster, more reliable, better gas mileage isn't viewed as top dog by many many people. Old school, is just badass. GT500 needs a manual option.

Must be the tuning that gets the job done for the Bullitt I suppose. I remember VMP doing a manifold shootout with the CobraJet, Boss 302, GT350 and the 2018+ and the 2018+ was right in the mix with the rest of them for a fraction of the price:
I still love the 350. It is a strong engine with the road course in mind, which is what I'd prefer. Maybe I'll go test drive the Bullitt for fun.

Its 2019 and people still dont realize the GT350 isnt a straight line monster. It does better on the road course than any previous mustang though, that includes 13/14 GT500.
It aint because I have not told em.
Right!? Ford probably won’t keep it in production since it has been selling so poorly the last 4 years
Last of the 3 pedal manuals, hi revving FPC, a dream on the track. It is the only mustang that the BAT/Porsche crowd cares about which matters because those are the guys with money. I expect unmolested Rs will hold there value very well.

Interesting...good info! Thanks.
Oh, I'm sold on the GT350. Unfortunately, owners/dealers with less desirable specs (low mileage 2016 non-track pack cars) are asking $50k
