We had a 71 Mercury wagon when I was a kid, "The Gray Ghost". My father bought it wrecked and fixed it.
351+ glass packs was quite a symphony from a big old wagon.

$11,678 and the reserve is not met. I think at that price point it is over valued. 429 2bbl, maybe if it had a factory 4 bbl carb it could fetch more.

Cool car, but the interior is hideous.
THAT seat cloth is beyond hideous. Some kind of Indian pattern. I remember a lot of interiors from back in the day, but that one is new to me. Yuck!

I have to wonder what the Reserve is.

Dad had a 72 brown/woodgrain with a 460, I had a Pinto wagon brown/woodgrain. Dad traded the wagon and a camper for a motorhome, I ran the doors off the Pinto. Literally ran the doors off, the upper hinge rotted out of the body and when dad saw me closing the door he took the keys then and there.

Man, to think just a couple years ago my neighbors cut a few of them up to turn into demolition derby cars. I almost shed a tear.

460 lb/ft torque!?!?!

That old turd would be fun as hell haha
I've got 500ft-lb in my wagon. Traction is laughable. Extremely sketchy in any sort of performance maneuvering. But it's a fun death trap.
