'03 Cobra Blower

I just got my '03 Cobra this fall and just learning about it. Does anyone know why it might say Eaton on the front of it instead of SVT? Does this mean that it have been replaced in the past?

I too have never ever ever seen one with Eaton embossed in the casting.

The front of mine says Ford inside an oval, and has SVT under that, which is normal for all the other Terminator Eatons I've ever seen. Curious if you can post a pic of yours.

99-00 Lightning supercharger had Eaton on the snout , Lightning snouts are interchangeable with Cobra snouts .I'm pretty sure OP has Lightning snout on his car

I never know 99-00 lightnings came with "eaton" on the blower. That's badass. That would be a cool thing to swap on a Cobra if you were porting the blower and had it apart.

Thanks for all the replies, unfortunately I do not have a lot of history regarding the car. I am the 6th owner. The part numbers from the housing and snout are 2R3V-CC and 2R3V-6F066-AC respectively.

The 03/04 Cobra's have a 3.65" pulley !! The Lightning's have a 3.0" pulley!!! :thumbsup:
