For the last 3 weeks, my car has been making a chirping noise whenever I turn left. The faster I turn, the faster it is (until about 25mph, then it just fades out *or is high pitched enough so I can't hear it). Anyone ever had this problem? I don't see any fluid leaking out, so I am not sure...

I was curious about this since I got one, so here goes. When I put my radar detector on my windshield, where can I legally place it? Is it legal to have it behind the rear view mirror (with the idea that it won't impair my vision)? Or is it just something that needs to be gone? Thanks
