Coyote swap – single turbo
-True street car, power everything, factory cobra power brakes, power steering, Heat, etc. only thing taken off was a/c, Still have compressor/lines/condenser though if the new owner wanted to add it back...
We have made some progress on the car but still have a lot to do but thought I would start a small build thread about what the car is going through right now.
Coyote swapped it a few years ago and it ran exceptionally well, but us car guys know it's never enough. So last summer I added some...
Alright guys, trying to gauge an idea from people who have been down the road with the T45 and what kind of power can it really handle.
I plan on keeping my car around 700-750 about 90% of the time but occasionally turning it up to ~850-900.
The trans is completely built the the T45 source...
Okay so as of now, I am planning on building a turbo kit for the coyote. For now it will just be a 2015+ shortblock with 11-14 heads. I will build the short block down the road.
I'm trying to determine a decent turbo to run that is cost effective but won't choke the coyote. Which has led me to...
So car always ran strong after the swap, but unfortunately tuning for the nitrous it looks like it went lean and the famous # 7 & 8 cylinders in the 2011 engine had enough. So I have been debating on the route I wanna go. The plan was to run nitrous this year and then get rid of it and turbo it...
If you know anything about these, you know how rare they are. I'm changing things up and have decided to sell mine.
It's in perfect shape, no discoloration or cuts, etc. I hardly ever drive the car so there is no signs or wear on it.

First time out with the car this year will be Saturday. What are your guys guesses. Below time slips are with 3.73's and 93 octane. Car is coyote swapped with full exhaust, JLT, tune. This winter I changed from the 3.73's & a 26" to 4.30's & 28" tire and changed from the 93 octane tune to E85...
Well first off, I apologize if this has been asked before which I'm sure it has, but apparently the search function on the site is broke and google wasn't much help.
Tried spraying the car last night but to no avail. I have a nitrous outlet plate kit, NOS TPS/Window Switch. It is getting 1.25v...
Finally pulled the trigger on the set of wheels I've wanted for a while! Really happy with how it came out! Figured I would share with my sn95 brothers! (sorry lighting sucked, only time I had a chance)
It was a 7 week wait for the rears but damn it was worth it! Fronts I had the next day thanks to Carlyle Racing. Have a few more things to finish up and then it's back to the track!
This is the only time I had the chance to snap a couple pictures, and being in the middle of the day the...
Looking to buy a set of drag wheels ASAP! Let me know what you have, Alumastar front and champion rears are top on my list but will consider anything! But please no SVE wheels. Let me know what you have! Cash in hand, if no bites soon I'll buy some new.
Basically I want to know if I can throw a set of boss rods in my coyote engine and just have it balanced, to my knowledge, the coyote and the boss pistons are the same, so I'm wondering if I can buy a set of boss rods and have the rotating assembly balanced only it would be okay and no machine...
Anyone running these plugs? I don't see the point in iridiums and have never ever been a fan of them. Overpriced when cheaper plugs have done just as well and have been proven to be amazing.
So anyone boosted or nitrous, anyone running the NGK Tr6 or Br7ef?
Looking to put a 150 shot on the car this winter, but I have a couple of questions I need to know about.
How are you guys using the nitrous while launching with a 2 step?
What is the Max RPM you can spray with the stock manifold?
I would normally shift around 7-7200 but according to...
Finally got to the track after doing the coyote swap. I wasn't expecting much since I haven't launched the car before, or set up the suspension and the gears are not ideal at all.
I ran twice and did better than I figure I would so I called it quits while I was ahead. Here is a complete list of...
Browsing youtube and ran across this. I didn't see it posted after a quick search so here it is.... I am also posting a link that starts the video on the ENGINE portion. Kinda cool to see how similar it still is to our Ford Modular engines :)

Went to Mexico this weekend for NMRA and although the weather sucked, I was able to get one run in with a friend. Wasn't a whole lot of room to run out 4th due to a turn and couldn't get another run in due to random traffic but it was fun!

Had a couple fun runs this weekend. Both were good guys. The turbo buick was really cool and unsuspecting. mods are in the video but for those who are on their phone I'll post them here too. I'm in the near lane both times.
(Sorry for the crappy quality, they used their iPhone for it)...
Just curious about how laws are from state to state such as on a road trip or just moving to a new state.
For example, My car is registered in Indiana but I drive to Tennessee. Can a police officer give me a ticket for window tint or muffler violation in Tennessee even though my car is...
Had a good run with a friend of mine recently, run was from ~45.

Race hasn't taken place yet, but will be tomorrow. I have a 98 cobra with a 2012 GT coyote swap. So the normal upgrades for now, Full exhaust, JLT CAI, and tuned on 93 for now. Full tubular front suspension, 3.73 gears etc.
He has a f10 M5 ( twin turbo v8) it only has filters and a tune. So...
Well just finished up the coyote swap on the BAB. It overall wasn't terrible to do, but Keeping every accessory made it a bit more difficult. AC lines in the way, modifying a few things to make it fit etc but overall it wasn't terrible. I have driven it some this past weekend to put miles on the...
