I heard that one has Treynor's name on it. ;)

My God, the man is an automotive/engineering genius. The described features blew me away. Can a HIGH performance super-sedan be any better than this one? Wow!

The touch-screen (actually looks good!) has force-feedback to make it feel like you're touching actual buttons.

I think what you are referring to is called a rotary valve. Koenigsegg uses "free valve" which uses traditional valves that are opened and closed by an electric actuator. This gives the ECM complete control over valve events and makes possible some very cool things with an internal combustion engine.
YES! YES! YES! Thank you! I was racking my brain all day yesterday trying to find what the hell I read about all those years ago and a simple search for "rotary valve heads" lead me to exactly what I was looking for!

CSRV System

And I'm 99.9% positive they used a 5.0 in a Mustang during this test. I was slightly off my numbers I mentioned too: "A five-litre poppet vavle engine tested on a dynomometer under the same loads and conditions at 5500 produced 480 BHP and 454 foot pounds of torque. The maximum RPMs on the poppet valve engine were 5700 RPMs; the Spherical Rotary Valve Engine in comparison reached 14,850 RPM's."

I got sort of confused/aroused when they continued in on the ICE mixed with the electric motors, so hopefully someone can help.

Did he say 600ish HP from his TT camless 3 cylinder?

It seems the freevalve technology works really well with a turbo. This is the future of ICE engines. The increase in torque an HP along with emissions reduction and pollution reduction would seem like the future to me. You add into it the fact that the freevalve tech helps reduce the overall size and weight of the eninge package allowing for addition of the electric motors and you have a true winner.
