Very nice!! I can't wait for vids and hear some times. Your car moved out as it was, so I cannot imagine now.

Awesome numbers!!!! but with the PSR your peak should be 7000-7200 depending and what LSA cams you went with. has na svt said 6300 is where the stock cobra peaks at. I would get some more fuel in it and adjust tune if needed, and get the header leak fixed and see what you can do. Im sure 385-390rwhp isn't out of reach.

No vids yet but I do remember the peak hp number....I am waiting on the dyno results to be emailed to me......

Still have to work on the idle. I have a leak on my driver side header where the primary tube connects to the collector which was throwing off the idle pretty crazy.

Fuel pump is close to maxing out but still ok. Long story short....the max hp of the night was.............

383rwhp Still on the stock bottom-end!!!

Once the graph get emailed to me I will post it.

Very nice! I told you it would made some nice power! lol!

Yes...PSR
I need to get the graph but the power started falling around 6300ish...Not sure if thats due to the bottom-end or what. Where do you think the peak needs to be.

Would advancing the intake cam hurt or help hp and peak at which max hp is made etc...

I know exactly what its and its an easy fix....well sorth of! lol!

I reduced your Plenum volume to 75% of motor CIs to increase trottle response. I was expecting some brutal trottle response but not at the cost of higher RPM HP.

The way I make my Ported Short Runners is to allow for quick, tunable plenum volume (and we are workig on a tunable runner lenght :beer:). So, based on that info, Ill increase the plenum volume for you and bring it to ~90-100% motor CIs and that will move your power band back up into the ~6800RPMs where my design of short runner will bring the power peak at. and carry the power band to ~7200RPMs.

For example the PSR that I made for coolguy10786 is at 90% of his 322CIs, and based on his SOTP dyno is making brutal power with insane trottle response and carry the power band to 7000RPMs.

If we do so, I bet that there are an extra 5-10RWHP to be gained and 400RW NA on the stock SB well within reach!

So, Ill PM you some details, pretty much I can just send you another PSR, with the larger Plenum Volume or you can send me that one and Ill modify for the larger plenum volume. No cost to you!

383RWHP is Not bad for a simple "Nazty" Head/Cam/Intake combo!

Either way I am tickled pink. The car is sick! At 4000 rpm she comes alive and fast...lol

Glad you are happy! 383RWHP of a stock short block is nothing to laught at and you are doing it NA!

Hey, those little "Nazty Performance" Stage 2 cams are working good! lol!

At that power level, 10s should be within reach with the right traction/driver!

Glad to know you are happy!

My PSR desing calls for a ~6800RPMs power peak and carry the power band to ~7200RPMs.

The design allows for little to none low/mid range power losses and extent the power band to 7200RPMs and have a brutal trottle response!

No biggy brother!

The thing that is keeping his power band back is plenum volume. Basicly, the combo is working very well togethe, so effieicent that is utlizing all that air, runs out the air......runs out of RPMs.

Awesome! Now to put the whippin' on the local LSx boys!!!

Has anyone eclipsed to 400RW mark with a 4.6 N/A 4V yet? I'll bet it is a wicked feeling upon matting the throttle!!!

Have fun and be safe!!!

The loaded dynos are known to drive the rpm at which peak power occurs down a few hundred rpm and the torque registers higher also. I don't understand why this happens, and it doesn't do it on all loaded dynos. It's strange. One of my 2' shortened runner intakes made peak at 6k on loaded dyno but on a dynojet made peak at 6700???? I wish I understood the physics behind dynos more and the factoring the operators use.

Either way, 383rwhp is very good.
