A 2000 red SS 6-speed with 110 miles sold at Mecum Indy for $31K! Bought new and put away. I believe the MSRP of the 2000 Camaro SS was $25,750 back then. Not much of an investment if that was the intent back in 2000 when it was bought.An 02 SS is still very high on my want list.
Now this is terrible.
I remember riding in this Tempo when I was a kid. Ford used the 93' Cobra wheels as a base and asked the team, "how can we make these extremely ugly?" They succeeded and the Tempo wheels were born.

I drove a 1986 Ford Escort occasionally when I first got my license with red interior, 4 speed manual, carbureted, and it had 86hp I kid you not. You had to get a 1 mile head start if you wanted to pass someone.
I typed the car up in my search engine, but I think it only searched for the term "Escort" and all the pictures that showed up were a bunch of naked women haha.
That's pretty cool! I didn't know. I like the newer Taurus SHOs that are AWD & twin turbo. 365 hp is pretty awesome for a car like that. Unfortunately they weigh 30 tons.I had a friend that had one in all wheel drive, which was quite exotic at the time.urb
