Sounds like a management problem.
What people don't understand is that what makes the UAW suck isn't their cost, it's the adversarial relationship of labor and management. The lack of flexibility, accountability, etc.
Also, I'm not advocating for anything, I'm just saying "I get it".
A guy I know is a Ford tech and just posted a video of everyone standing around in the parking lot.
The UAW problem is that they know they can be shit ass workers that never have to answer for being shit ass workers.
I’d love to see the plants moved to Mexico as they truly seem to be better at shit than the US. For all the shit that people talk about the laziness and corruption in Mexico when compared to the US, the roads get done faster, the train got built faster, and they did t run over budget like the US.
About the only state that can build a new road or replace a road efficiently in the US is Florida. The roads here in Los Cabos feel smoother in a ****ing tour bus than they do in Tennessee in my truck and van. Lol

It was really good energy, people were very hopeful and a lot of people from other plants and locals stopping by from all over.
They had us set up better than at home, ice, water, soda, pizza, doughnuts, vendors came through and set up road side BBQ
I believe we’re being used, most don’t see it that way, but we are caught in between Ford, the UAW, the news media/reporters and a stream of politicians, congress, senators, representatives, local office etc.
Everyone just wants to post a story or content, clicks…etc.

Your first sentence is a big reason some people do not look upon unions fondly. People aren't finding empty beer cans in the door frames any longer so I guess that's progress. IMO the UAW needs to quit with the company profits/ceo pay as justification for their demands.
