Holy crap are those expensive.Forgot about this thread. I retired the old '97 GT road bike and picked up this Cannondale Carbon 3L just over a year ago. Put over 3K klm's in that time. Not quite as fast as my GT but 22 speed helps with the hilly terrain around here.
Yeah... didn't help with covid pricing either. They're a grand cheaper this year...Holy crap are those expensive.
Interesting, it showed about $3,300 on their site. We paid a bunch and waited forever for two basic bikes back then,Yeah... didn't help with covid pricing either. They're a grand cheaper this year...

Was $4,200 up here, north of the border. Only found 3 (in my size 51cm) in the country from the online seller I was dealing with. None locally.Interesting, it showed about $3,300 on their site. We paid a bunch and waited forever for two basic bikes back then,

I'm thinking about giving up mountain biking. I head butted a boulder the other day and I'm pretty sure my helmet saved me from a skull fracture since it cracked the shell of my helmet.
I just don't get it. I've been a BMXer most of my life and can do things on a bike most people can't, but I keep crashing the mountain bike.
