I probably missed this in another post, but how much do you plan to drive this one? It's an auto, so does your wife want to occasionally drive it?
Bob the wife bought this vert, it's hers. She plans on driving it a lot. We'll probably keep it at the house garage for most of the year. Then when winter comes along bring it back to the shop.I probably missed this in another post, but how much do you plan to drive this one? Awesome thanks! It's our first convertible.Nice 7up. I had a couple convertibles back in the early 90's, they are great cruisers.
unlike alot of other cars...a STB instantly improves any fox
How much will it help with all the squeaks in the roof? I know they help with stiffening and some squeaks, but will it really help with the squeaky top?
I think SFC"s would help a lot with that.
How extensive do you want to get? The Stiffler's "Fit System" would stiffen that chassis up quote well.
Stifflers FIT system vs. just regular subframe connectors?
I'm going to have a set of full-length subframe connectors installed on my '04 Cobra. While shopping, I came across the Stifflers FIT system, which basically adds an outboard jacking rail as well as some webbing that goes between the jacking rail and the FLSFCs...www.svtperformance.com
Not too extensive, Mike. She's got the SFC already, just not installed yet. Only took 2 years of me nagging her, for her to finally order them.
It's a triple white 93, so she doesn't want to get too crazy. I figured more along the lines of some adjustments or greasing of the convertible frame in certain areas. I've never owned a fox vert so I'm not sure what "normal" is.
