Any suggestions for a PC console? I basically want it just to play the GTA's with all type of mods. My problem is I know nothing about PC gaming, any suggestions?

Far Cry series ( less FC 2)
Prey
Deus Ex ( first one - now dated one of the best games ever) series
Dishonored Series
Half Life ( also dated now )

Anybody recommend any FPS like the ones above ? My faves are story based FPS games
Thanks

I'm currently downloading GTA 5 right now. I bought the most expensive pack they got. Got it on sale. Regular cost over 100 bucks, I got it for 82 bucks. Installing on my "D" drive. Currently at 25%. I started downloading almost an hour ago now. Downloading from STEAM.

I'm still new to this. I haven't played video games in over 15 years now and never on the PC. I have the wireless adapter for Windows 10 and the XBox Patrol Tech special edition wireless controller.

Downloading gta from steam took my computer about 2 hours. Download everything on the hard drive. Leave your solid state free to operate quickly.

It took about 3 hours for me. The one with the Megalondon Shark. It was over 100 bucks, but I got it for 82 bucks. Downloaded it to my D drive.

I've playing like non stop ever since yesterday afternoon. lol
Great for the winter time here in the Northeast.

Finished Fallout 4, played it again.
Just finished Witcher 3
Both are great games.

Witcher 3 was an amazing game, one of the best of this console generation imo. I wish there was going to be a follow up to the Witcher but I am looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 just as much. That game is going to raise the bar.

We got our bonus room finally set up and I broke out the 360 after a 4 year hiatus. Knocked off the dust with COD Balck Ops and just finished it. Continuing on with Black Ops II, naturally. I reeeeealllly want to get a One X, but hard to justify to the wife after dropping $1,300 on a TV and reciever. Maybe next Christmas...

Maybe invest in a pair of gaming glasses? I think that dude on Youtube, TYPICAL GAMER, uses them.
My chair isn't awesome, but it isn't that bad either. Only cost me 80 bucks. lol

GTA V is tits man! Watch some LSPDFR videos on YouTube, see if you're interested (offline only) and let me know. It's not something we can play together (well they do have role play servers) but I can help you get it setup/modded.

Also, just beat Hitman 2 (2018) on Professional difficulty with "Silent Assassin, Suit Only" accolades! Hitman is seriously one of the most underrated franchises in gaming history.

I want to do lspdfr but I modded it before I knew to make a copy of the game so now I can’t go online.

I’ve been playing RDR2 and BFV lately. Just completed the story in red dead and it was pretty awesome. BFV is okay, but I feel they’ve downgraded the way guns handle compared to BF1, where the sounds, animations, and even firing at different ranges was more in depth in the last game

While I haven't played online very much, from what I gather you're not missing much. It seems the writing is on the wall once two or more high ranking players come in. They have all the money, weapons, cars, etc.

Let me know when you want in on the action! Just be sure to make a backup copy of the game so if any of your modding goes awry, or you want to play online, you can just swap the files out like nothing ever happened.

I like watching Polecat324, Bay Area Buggs and Jeff Favignano, in that order. Lol

You can sort of thank me for how most weapons acted in BF 1, as we had a team from EA that was allowed access to the GWA Great War Associations grounds in Newville Pa. and our trench lines while working on that game.

We basically told them this is what they are and able to do in real life. Not this rip a Maxim off it's mount and start firing it by one guy unrealistic style.
