I'm pretty much dedicated to Gears of War 4 Horde mode.
This was fun for a while, but it wore me out because I'd always get groups where no one had any idea how to use their roles -_-> I was always scout and I'd have random people going around and picking the loot up.

CSGO is my main game to play. Have almost 3500 hours of play time.

Also got Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on sale the other day. Going to start to pour some time into it. Really wanted to buy Killing Floor 2 but Rising Storm was cheaper($9!) so i grabbed it instead.

The next title im waiting on is the new World War 3 game that just went into Early Access on Steam. Its a Battlefield competitor and looks to be stupendous. I want Battlefield V but after the whole fiasco i think im going to sit this one out. Battlefield 1 was terrible and a total waste of money(I have 56 hours total compared to almost 1000 on BF4).

WW3 looks good. I dont have a PC setup but I pay attention to a lot of the games coming out and that one looks good.

I did the same thing with BF1. I hated it and went back to BF4 where I probably have as much time on. BFV is really polished as far as overall gameplay. Still has some bugs as usual but they are minor and will get fixed. It feels like they put a lot of time into revising the feel of it. It feels like you are playing the controls of BF4 but it feels much more like hardcore. Maybe dont buy it but try to play the launch version at some point.

What about all that steampunk bullshit from the trailers and E3? Did they get rid of it and go to a more realistic tone?

Yeah. In multiplayer you dont see any of that. Only controversial thing you will experience is hearing women scream and talk while you are playing, but as far as your characters go you can make them whoever you want them to be. The only character changes you can make are to their gender and the face and then the uniforms. So no prostethic arms or anything unless those are in the war stories which I have not played yet.

It carries on the traditional Battlefield character style with the addition of having women as an optional choice as a character.

I feel you there, I'm pretty sure I have over 4,000 hours in CS:GO alone, not to mention my time in 1.6 & source... yikes.

I too was a 1.6/source alumni. CSGO is one of those classics, just like 1.6, that will really never fail to bore me. I only really play competitive match making. The tournaments are interesting to watch too and you get a feeling watching it that its more a game of "chess" between two teams than anything else.

Battlefield on the other hand has gone away from what i used to love about it. The last 2, BF4 and then BF1 both were good but didnt have the feeling of the older games. My last favorite was BF3 and Bad Company 2. I couldnt put those away even when the newer games came out. They just had something else that the newer games didnt offer.

Yeah I got bored of MM once I hit Global multiple times, 64 tick servers are actual garbage anyway. ESEA turned to shit in the last couple years too. I played solely ESEA up until A+ range when I got bored of the game. Still one of my all time favorites.

Most of the time I'm playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. The game came out in 2003....=-D. I've played the modern FPS's and liked them but nothing really held my competitive one on one interest like Wolfenstein does. I've found it's much more competitive than the modern games I've played. Like COD, Battlefield... It's more in your face action and great fights.

I really like the Total War series of games and spent a lot of time on those. The latest and greatest one I play is Rome Total War and love it. I haven't played the newer one that is based off of......the name escapes me now actually, but it's mythical (EDIT: I cheated and looked it up, Warhammer is the name of it). I will most likely get the newest one coming out in 2019 called 3 Kingdoms, though. I really like Men at War Assault Squad games too. I played the crap out of that one. I might get the expansion pack for it if the price is right. It's VERY detailed, great graphics and pretty intuitive. If you like that sort of game you should love this one.

Those are for the computer but I haven't really used my XBOX One all that much so I just got Red Dead Redemption 2 and Forza Horizon 4, I've yet to play either. I've only used the XBOX so far to play GTA V.

Any suggestions for a PC console? I basically want it just to play the GTA's with all type of mods. My problem is I know nothing about PC gaming, any suggestions?

Last game I played was FH4 but I haven't touched it in a while. The horizon games always piss me off so much, they're so aimed at zoomers.

I'd like to pick up Fo76 (why is this not on steam?) and Hitman 2 soon. If/when RDR2 ever hits PC I will buy that as well.

I first started playing Wolfenstein ET in about 2005, sometime last year when I still worked in IT I assembled an off domain desktop and hid it in our lab so a coworker and I could play W ET on our lunch break.

W ET, Starcraft and Halo/Halo CE was my life in 2005-2007
