Well that video is almost a year old and that car surely hasnt set any records to my knowledge. If im not mistaken all 8 sec hellcats are still utilizing the factory blower. Honestly the stock blower is almost a perfect match for the factory internals. A maxed out blower, especially with nitrous will push the engine to its limit. Pointless to slap a huge blower on there without building the engine for it.
I'm kinda calling Bullshit...You don't pick-up 10 MPH going from 9.86 to 9.70...Something is amiss...My friend runs 9.90 @142+ in his Hellcat, if he runs 10.06 he runs 142+...And this is at Famoso in Socal, if he ran @ Cecil he would probably run 148...IMHO

I don’t understand - he lifted the first pass in the video, hence the 124, maybe lift again on 9.86 pass? Or car didn’t shift or something and let out?

That’s should be a high 8sec car on a hard launch. That thing seemed like it was babied off the line.
Side note, finally saw a charger hell cat while driving the mustang today. He did a ricer fly by and then I got on his ass and pulled into the lane next to him. He didn’t want to play.

Posted up last week a SRT8 Charger kept baiting me, then called me a bully when I smashed him, haha.
Tim Barths latest Charger tune: Stock blower, 2.85 upper only(no lower), e85, off road pipe and a 100shot of nitrous. SAE numbers. It made 843 without the 100 shot and ran 9s before this tune and now has 200 more HP
So OP thinks 1000+hp with a 4.5 Whipple and 9.70s is impressive but a stock 560hp and a 10.30s is not?
Not sure how he went from a 9.86 @ 134 to a 9.70@ 144. That's a pretty big difference.
