Dodge corporate made them give up the part I’m guessing because it was on a national back order.

Not sure how Dodge works, but with Ford they can't make us give up a part. They can buy it out from us though, usually at cost +10 or 20%. The dealer can also buy it out from us directly and bill the price difference on the RO. I have had some parts in stock that were on backorder but allotted for customers. Ford reps will call and try to demand it and I will give them my customer's info and tell the rep that if my customer agrees that the rep's person is more important, then I will sell it.
Yeah I really don’t know exactly what happened only that I had a case number from dodge and a rep from corporate on my side that plus I have a great relationship with this dodge dealer.
All I do know is that my car is running perfectly.
I'm thinking if I can't afford a Z06/Z07 car, (which I probably won't be able to, but you don't ask, you don't get), I'm really considering a Hellcat Challenger.
Hopefully the new GT500 is out by then and I "have a chance" to order one the exact way I want. I'm sure they will be limited and I'm not paying over MSRP for one. I would be ordering the Z06 or the Hellcat as well anyways. If I'm paying that much on my next toy, I want it as I want it, no less.

I’d guess you won’t see the next gt500 without an adm for awhile.
I paid under sticker for my gt500 but I walked into a totally lucky situation. I basically called every dealer in New England before I found my car and I was about to give up.
In my lifetime I will never pay sticker or over for anything. I would just buy something else.

I'm not paying ADM for sure, not matter how killer the car is and I'm sure the new GT500 is going to be killer. I would rather stay with the Mustang, but if it's crazy ADM and limited availability, I highly doubt I will get one.

I love both hellcats but the charger is starting to make more sense as a daily. I’m probably 55% leaning towards the charger over the Challenger right now.
Yeah, you can't go wrong with either. Both are hot. Plus, that supercharger whine.

Getting exactly what you want is a crazy concept.
If Nick can’t help you I can give you my dealers contact info. They said they won’t do ADM. They are a small dealer, so no telling if they get a GT500 allocation. They didn’t get a GT350R but did get at least 1 GT350.
