I would like to see the track pack 350 or trofeo' go head to head with the z. I don't think the z would win. But who cars the new 6 1le will beat all including z06!!!
Negative ghost rider...

I said nothing about preferring the 350 over the R.Statistically, you're in the minority. Ask everyone who bought a non-r if they would have purchased an R, if they had the option and if the ADM wasn't like it is. I would have been plenty excited with a non-r if I hadn't found mine - excellent value, which we can agree with one caveat; as long as you're leaving the non-r stock. As soon as you buy a set of "real" wheels/tires, the value gap narrows quite a bit (of course, assuming the R could be had at MSRP or even $5k over).
You have some serious USI issues bud, ever heard of opinions?

More C7 hating, I see. Dude, have you seen the Z06 lap times? Let me just hit you with some facts you can't deny. It ran a 1:58 to the GT350R's 2:02 in the pcoty event. That's 4 seconds if you need help. Have you seen what it looks like when a car puts 4 seconds on another car? Pretty bad. It beat everything in every class at VIR at the Car and Driver Lightning Lap, including the 911 GT3, Lamborghini Huracan, and McLaren 650S. It also has gone 2:41 at VIR with GM driver Jim Mero. To put that in perspective, the fastest a Porsche 918 has gone there i think is 2:43. Stop spewing your garbage on the net dude. Hate GM or Corvette all you want, the performacne can't be denied and is the best all around that America has to offer.
The 6th gen 1le will make the gt350r look like a snail.
My cousin works at the caddy factory and said the chassis is so stiff because captive aliens at Area 51 were extorted into building it. It's literally the best thing ever.
Obviously some folks can't handle the truth. And when that happens they respond with bad sarcasm. You see, ON D BIT, when I claim something is better than something else I site facts, not what I think I maybe heard someone's brother's cousin's uncle say.

What I suggested is that the visual differences are so minor that only fans will really notice a difference. The visual badassery difference is extremely minor.
I actually prefer the 350 over the R, I could afford to buy a handful of R versions if I wanted to but I choose the Track option GT350 - again no interest in wheels (carbon) that make me Ferrari nervous everytime I take it out.

Then the ACR wins hands down and it makes for a very boring article. Theoretical lap times that 99.5% of owners would never be able to replicate themselves are only so interesting, over all feel, drivability, driving experience, are in reality the real "metrics" most should base their purchase off.Keep in mind Motortrend uses an arbitrary "value" metric in their comparisons. I think it would be better if magazines ranked cars purely on performance merit, and then let the readers decide which fits their budget.

...
I also don't care about this car's performance/numbers vs. that car's performance/numbers. I'm buying this for personal enjoyment and not for track/slip times, and driver > car anyway.
So get a regular GT or Ecoboost and leave the GT350(R) for people who can appreciate it.
