Few years back a member and friend on here ran his 5.0 hard as shit NA and on spray, went 6.9 @ 99 iirc on a 100 shot and tire mt82 car. Swapped to a Paxton, made 711 on meth and couldn't keep a clutch in the car and swapped auto. His car was trapping 106-108 with the auto and putting down not even 600 hp iirc through the auto, same boost setup. My point being, the stock clutch and added power isn't helping you at all and in all honesty probably leaving ALOT on the table.

Said mentioned auto car came around my whipple cobra in the 8th after I treed him bad and my car was trapping 102-103 in the 8th and 129 in the 1/4 on the blower, making lower 600's on a DJ. So, your car running correctly shouldn't have an issue with a Hellcat from a roll, speed shifting with a good clutch. Bad clutch = this video.

I agree. After market clutch and e85 is next up on the list. Not a race night goes by that I don't kick myself for not getting the 6r80 and I've even seriously contemplated trading the car in for an auto but I'm too lazy to uninstall the Paxton and re install on the new car back to back lol

Had a stock Hellcat at State Capital Raceway in Baton Rouge today. Guess he should've used the magical gasoline. 11.3 @ 127?????????? Weather was pretty much ideal.

BTW, is this the same black Hellcat that ran 10.4 @ 133? Not hating on the Hellcat, as I like the direction much more so than the GT350. But it doesn't add up. If this particular car ran a stock 13/14 GT500 it would put football fields on it.

Is 11.3@127 not good or something? Today was cool temps but i know you know it gets much better than today. Ive raced in 30* temps and -1000+ da at NPR plenty of times.

No its not the 10.4 hellcat. That car is from south tx. This ones from Houston. The one and only thats been street racing like crazy.

I highly doubt this paxton would put football fields on a Trinity. Even the owner is saying the clutch is holding its full potential back.

Imagine that the race between the HC & C7Z never happened. Now imagine this car racing a C7Z and losing in the same fashion. Would the world be crying the Z had a shot? Id imagine not. Fact is though this very same HC beat a C7Z. A Z that trapped 129 minutes before the race. The HC is a more than worthy competitor. Its not like it lost to a bolt on 392. Lol

Had this Paxton been an auto or had a good clutch im pretty damn sure it would have won.

The white Hellcat went 10.4. I think the black one ran either high 10's or low 11's at 129 with a tire. I believe he ran 126 on stock tires.

You got it backwards.

Though i think the white never ran on a tire. Best was 11.0x@127ish I believe

Gimme11's, Haven't been to the track yet with the Paxton. 3.31's Mickey Thompson et streets. No waste gate. 3.6 pulley

Very nice... that 3.6 must feel real good. Im going to wastegate mine and then its on. Although the damn car feels PLENTY fast right now with the 3.73s it bangs 7200 like no ones business.

The jumps are a result of the 8 speed auto. Similar to the the GTRs. You can't beat a proper flappy pedal.

Agree... the 3.31s aren't helping him against an 8spd auto either. A good shifting mt82 and 3.73s would have raped this Hellcat IMO.

Either way both cars are badass. Can't wait till February 21st, installing my Paxton 2200 and getting it tuned!

agree... you'll love your car after the Paxton install!

I wonder how many of the cars you passed at 100 mph plus had children in them? Find a racetrack!

Damn your car looks good!! Love silver. Shows all the lines perfectly.

Very good sportsmanship. Both cars look great. Before I bought my 08 I wanted a hellcat but I'm an impulse buyer and they were months from the showroom.

Thanks. Owner of the hellcat seems like a cool dude. I'm gonna change clutch fluid next weekend and we're gonna run again from a 40 this time

Silver '11+ mustangs look so good. I think it would be a tie with Silver or Sterling Gray mustang for my 2nd choice after DIB.
