based in fact all "potheads" are lazy, sit on couches and eat chips? lol
yup you got me you have the best evidence I've ever heard of.
sorry let me get back to smoking so i can sit here and eat some week old chips.

+1

you ARE impared after smoking whether you think so or not. and that is the danger. you can drink till you are so impared you can't get behind the wheel. you cannot smoke yourself into oblivion.

Completely agree. Although the level of alertness is higher after smoking because of the heightened senses, as opposed to alcohol which destroys any and all forms of alertness. Almost all the people I know that smoke MJ have no desire to drive as opposed to people who drink. At least while high you maintain your sense of self and rational thought.

In terms of the "drug war", how many people would would pay for Mexican dirt weed if they could grow hydro in their home for the cost of nothing but seeds? Zero. That's how many. There's the end of the "drug war" on pot.

We could then reallocate those funds and resources at the border for things that need more attention like human trafficking. Now there's a real ****ing problem.

Sterotype doesn't imply or indicate ALL. You used that word, not me.

Were you not likely stoned, you may have been able to comprehend this.

Joe Rogan is an interesting person. He has knowledge, the power of speech and the confidence in his words. Most people usually have just one of those traits.

Joe for Prez??

On a serious note though, I have asthma and it would always flare up a few times a year. A ex of mines suggested I smoke some weed and that it would help it out. Of course I didn't believe her but after some thought and research I decided to try it.. Its been about a year and a half since I started smoking and I haven't had one asthma related problem since then..
Im not saying weed helped it out completely but I can say I haven't had a flare up since I started smoking daily..

I haven't smoked in years (because of my job), but it would cure my nasal allergies immediately if I was having an attack. One French inhalation and I wouldn't sneeze again for the rest of the day.

I dont really have an educated or authoritative opinion on the legalization. All your opinions for/against are very interesting. I just want to share my own experience with the use in that it: inhibits pain, increases my creativity, is euphoric, increases hunger!, slows reflexes, increases paranoia, decreases motivation (timeline on when is variable) and contains an addiction (mental, physical, chemical?...I dont know which but I can sense it within me). Obviously some of these are great and some not so great, but the scary part to me is that the experience is unique to the person and the (not so great) things may manifest in stronger ways to some people. The paranoia side effect comes to mind. But one of my biggest concerns is the smoke/vape going into my lungs and how I'm probably damaging them slowly.

I have PTSD, our government('MURICA) prescribed all kinds of antidepressants to cure my episodes but all the antidepressants would do is induce a numbing-type attitude I had about everything. That wasn't how I wanted to live my life, numb to emotions and the world. Another veteran Marine persuaded me to try his remedy. Since then I haven't had one episode, that was six months ago. I averaged about three a week before my awakening. Cannabis isn't the evil our government is protecting us from, our government is protecting itself from the finical woes that would come from legalizing the substance.

You no longer need to worry about that.

Marijuana doesn't harm lung function, study found

A lie this great about Cannabis cannot be sustained forever. I believe the entire world is slowly waking up to this.

I think the perception that marijuana use is harmless or good for you is dangerous and ill-founded.

Yeah, the government has been feeding us that lie since 1935. It's a lie that is no longer being sustained.

BULLSHIT! It's a lead in drug. Doesn't happen to everyone. But I know for fact many drug users started with pot.

This is a fact you can not change.

Edit: Just to be clear. I never said it shouldn't be legalized and taxed.

And I would argue that instead of a "gateway drug" the people who chain from MJ to meth or other drugs are probably the kind of people who would drink booze or smoke MJ to alter emotions and have bigger issues in their lives. The lifestyle they choose and attempts to escape lead to the other drugs, not the other way around.

Correlation/= causation.

Lots of gay guys started their sexual lives in their teens having sex with girls and even getting married and having children before coming out.
Using the same argument, sex with women causes men to like penis.

For SOME, yes. "alter emotions" REALLY?? Why else to people drink and do Pot and drugs????

I had a great life growing up. No issues. I got high because I liked getting high.

I started with pot
just to see what it was like. Same with meth and many other drugs.

I am living proof. LOL
