I don't think it should be illegal, it's costing us a ton to enforce retarded laws that don't really work. Make it legal, give people with certain sicknesses access to it if they wish.

Plus I have some cash in a medical marijuana company which I hope will hit it big in the future lol.

Not in the Op's post, but there are plenty of legal goods sold on the black market... including ones diff cartels deal with. Can we stop pretending now, that if marijuana was legal, that would stop drug wars permanently?

Usually high-dollar goods.

Do you see cartels running mexican cigs up into the U.S? No, why would they, cigarettes are relatively cheap here. Their profit margin is huge with it illegal. Not so much if it were legalized.

Let Winston-Salem and Marlboro start churning out MJ cigarettes for 5-6 bucks a pack, and it will make zero sense financially to try to sell bricks of MJ to anyone north of the border for like 10 bucks a pound haha.

everything in this world is motivated by the allmight green.

The drug company lobbists will do all they can in DC to try and stop marijuana from becoming legal.

Same thing goes for the oil industry. There are some good technology out there that could replace it, but the oil industry will do all they can and try and stop it

I love the stereotypes of "potheads"
too bad a good amount of people smoke marijuana on a daily basis (including myself)
and can function perfectly fine and not "sitting on their couches, munching on week old frito-lays, and trying to remember what they wanted to get done today." << typical stereotype. :bash::shrug:

1) Know why it's a "typical" stereotype? Because it's BASED IN FACT!!

2) If you think you wouldn't function better by NOT smoking pot, then I guess that's evidence in itself that pot does damage to your brain.

Oh I see O.P. so you're saying you'd rather have the Mexican drug cartels, and drug dealers win the war on drugs? What are you Anti-American?

I sleep a whole lot better at night knowing SWAT teams are out there breaking down doors and shooting dogs to save me from a leafy plant. Besides who else would we fill all the prisons with?

I'm beginning to feel like I'm the only person left on Earth who have never tried and never cares to try Marijuana...

I could care less what you choose to do, just don't think you're hiding the smell by spraying febreeze or lighting the grill. Personally can't stand the smell and it sticks on your clothes...don't walk into an interview wearing the same clothes...I won't hire you regardless of your piss test.

basically people act like it's so easy..just erase some laws from the books and done.
it's a lot more involved than that.
this is absolutely true - states that have legalized it in whatever form are now grappling with the question of DUI and DWI levels for cannibis.

you ARE impared after smoking whether you think so or not. and that is the danger. you can drink till you are so impared you can't get behind the wheel. you cannot smoke yourself into oblivion.

So a person can smell like pot (something you have never tried so it's safe to assume you aren't an expert on pot) and come up clean on their drug test but you still won't hire them?

You sound like Dwight from The Office.

Joe Rogan is an interesting person. He has knowledge, the power of speech and the confidence in his words. Most people usually have just one of those traits.
