It is a good thing the 5.0 is so much fun, it makes up for getting progressively worse looking rear ends every few years.

Why did they do a refresh so soon? Seems like most body styles last a good 4-5 years before they change them up. We barely got three years out of the 10+ body.

Who pays 45k for a GT? That's boss territory.
The Dealer Asking price is, 43. The OP of this thread added 2 to sound ridiculous.

I dont know if you guys have noticed but the dealer rep put up a for sale add for said gt. Hes getting hell over there....guess the gt's will be made in "limited quantities" as well.
No one has said anything will be made in limited quantities, but the manager's are asking that if we are going to tell alot of customers, or potential customers, that we have a car that has not been mass released yet, to give them a heads up that the first one we sell will not be haggled down to invoice.

im sure someone will pay close to that price to be the 1st in town to own one
That's what the dealership is hoping for, I'm not hoping that, being a personal mustang owner. We had a GT500 go yesterday that has had a mark up of 29,995 for quite a while but we sold it at like 2k over MSRP.

Well, I know where I'm going after work.
Did you get a chance to check it out? Not many people have had the opportunity to see it in person, I'd like to know a fellow Mustang owners opinion.

i just noticed the very bottom pic looks like it has a pop up antenna. please tell me this is a joke. when is mustang gonna get the technology the japs have had for 20 years to still get reception without an outboard antenna.
That was before the GT was processed through our shop and hadn't had anything done but roll off the truck, its the same as the 2012.

**Again, this is not me selling a GT for a million dollars. My dealership has one, that is their asking price, I thought I would share. Would I like to sell the first one? Yes. Does that mean I want to rip anyone off? No. I have only been selling cars for a couple months now and I still have a soul ;]

Idk why but for some reason it's just not that great looking, there no wow factor or anything that just sets it off. That's just me tho...

The Gotta Have It Green with those fugly rims:shrug:

I paid 32k on a 39k sticker last March on one of the first 2012's in Texas, so deals are out there. No way I would pay MSRP on any car much less over it

Pretty much.

I would definitely have to see it in person, as it looks really different in pictures depending on the light. It looks to me like one of those colors that definitely needs stripes or something to break up the color.

Cant get past that front bumper and paint side skirts. The car looks very long and tall.
I think the darker colors are more appealing in pictures because it kind of fades to black below the door.
That green is awful though, person or pictures all around it looks like poop. The one above makes me think of a powerpuff girl.

omg those recaro's! drroooooooooollll

Yeah that would be the only thing that is drooool.. Those painted side skirts are awful, and so is that rear blackout panel. Its going to be spider scratch city. Plus those side skirts are going to get sand blasted and rock shipped to hell.

Are you driving on gravel roads most of the time? I've had plenty of cars in my day, and I can't say I've ever had an issue with painted rocker panels getting "sand blasted and rock chipped to hell."

There is a reason whey you don't see black plastic rocker panels on most nicer/higher end cars--they look cheap.
