Let us be honest, the future of the hobby is all but over for those that want to do proper mods. Unless you are ok with tunes that are as spicy as Hellman’s Mayonnaise.

That is me thinking of what I would buy with a budget of day, $65-70k.

I came up with the following.

1. Restomod on a Falcon coupe
2. Restomod on a Fox
3. C7 Stingray
4. GT350
5. Aston Martin Vantage
6. Alfa Romeo Gulia Quadrafelacio/Quadriplegic

What are you guys thinking?

Where is John Wilkes Booth when his country really needs him?

Id love to stuff a Coyote in a Shelby Cobra.

I have a 22 Challenger Scat Pack widebody. Love the look and the sound but the weight and overall performance is uninspiring.

I have a new Bronco ordered that will become my daily when it arrives.

After that it would in no particular order.
1) Backdraft cobra with Godzilla motor.
2) Ferrari 488 Pista.

….Which means I will probably end up with a joe dirt Camaro since I am a tight ass.

You can't go wrong with any of these.
But, with a budget of 70K, you might want to scrap option number 1, unless you don't care how straight or perfect the car is. It'll probably take half of that or more to get a perfect body/shell of a car, after the body shop gets through with it.

A hard pass on #3 and 7 for me.

AM I really like these cars, but they are on the "grand touring" side. But many have 3 pedals (a must for me). Your budget also would allow you to consider an F8x M3/4, or M2, as you do have some European on your list.

Coyote in a Fox or a Falcon? Right on....

GT350 that is AOK too.

Honestly, backdraft cobra with a Roush 427/5 speed. Blue/white stripes and the carbon fiber dash. Realistically obtainable imc.

My other obtainable and weird bucket list cars:

Another 03-04 Cobra
87-93 Foxbody
Gen 2 L
C6 Z06
01 Bullitt.
97-06 Jeep TJ

The fox and the bullitt would be more project cars me as there are a few things i have always wanted to do.

Supra was always on that list, but its still a maybe.

I’m getting a 69/70 fastback, don’t care if it’s a Mach or not. Upgrade brakes, steering, exhaust

I want a clean fox done the same way

Finally, and the budget might not cover this one, but I’d like a 05/06 GT.

Funny you mention this because I'm getting close to doing an AC Cobra kit. My wife says I can order it when the garage is clean.

I'm really torn on which drivetrain to go with. Old school big or small block or one of the new crate motors. We'll see.

If not doing the Cobra, I'd build a Dynacorn mustang from the ground up. Might be over the budget you set, but who cares, it's only money... right?

Your government is lying to you

I would go with a 12 Boss 302, I like the graphics and miss mine. The 350 is great but the Boss was like dating a bipolar supermodel. You just knew it was waiting for it's chance to kill you.

I’d have to say this is a tough one for me. I’ve got a few of my bucket list cars knocked off my list. Only got a few more to go.
1995-98 Cobra
1969 Mustang Fastback
2002 Camaro SS
1995-98 Toyota Supra
1970 Chevelle SS
C6 Z06
2015 Chevy SS 6 Speed

A 69 Camaro is probably next on the list...

I still would like a 90-93 oxford white GT someday. And I've always liked the Vipers as well.
