I finally got all my winter plans done with the car. I had saved some money for a TS but I ended up making some home improvements to my home. I guess you can say that my priorities are more important. I ended up just throwing a 2.76 upper and all the idlers. I also got a new H/E mostly for looks and finished polishing the CB that was sitting in my garage for some time. AED managed to get 470/524 out of my car. I am really happy with the results.

so first of all I got my Afco H/E and I was disapointed with the finish on it. It was a dole aluminum finish. I was also not happy with the H/E brackets. I sent the brackets to get chrome plated and I began to hand polish my H/E. Sorry I didnt take any pics of the H/E after I installed it.

here is what I ended up with...

the first run made 471 but the trq was off and I ended up with 469.4-524.8 upper only. I am very happy with the results and I wanted to give AED a big thanks for their hard work.

Between my work schedule and family the Cb took me about 8 hrs but 10-15min a day for a few months. The H/E took about 4 hrs over the same 10-15 mins a day for a few weeks. Im a busy man lol!

The polishing came out really good. A lot of work, but well worth the time IMO. Those numbers are really great for 91 octane fuel. Especially the torque! Wow, I'm really impressed!

Hell yeah, nice numbers! that tq is sick!

How do you think she pulls now, compared to running stock boost? Pretty big difference eh? I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a difference it made, switching to a 2.8 upper. Sooooo much better, and more fun to drive now.

Congrats!

H/E and exhaust look great too!

You'll find you get more from the H/e than just looks. I was having a hard time pulling any #s with my upper lower combo in the summer heat. The car was pulling timing like crazy. The H/e allowed my to make great numbers after the first pull. After the first pull my #s came up 34rwhp from the previous second pulls.

Nice polishing work and amazing numbers! Do you have any other mods besides the 2.7? BAP or MAF? Also stock eaton non ported?
Also do you have an oil separator?

EDIT: I just saw your dyno vid, my car smokes exactly like yours, after a pull it puffs out a small cloud. I do not have an oil separator, I guess I'm not the only one whos car does that :)
