My bad not the valve cover its the small cover that hides the COP and spark plugs.
Still, black FTMFW. It just looks mean as hell, especially in a white car. The red would just look too busy.
She is going in this morning......may even bring her back to life....later this afternoon! We are on schedule!

I thought he mentioned something about ported FGTs. :shrug:
I think the ported GTs got axed during the budget cuts, but I may be mistaken. Besides, the back side of the dirvers side head does not look like a that of a GT head. Also, the distance from the intake mating surface to the valve cover rail is a lot shorter on the GT heads and the reason for that is the raised intake port.

Your are right, the intake ports do look way too low to be a FGT head. That didn't even occur to me.
Case in point:
I thought he bought the Kooks for the FGT flange, guess I misremembered.
