In a Auto Car we made 496 i think, Heads, Cams, Boss Intake with Headers and CAI.

Stick Car made 507 with the same mods

Can I get the same performance if I just ported the heads and changed springs, or is there difference in the design?

the heads will pick the car up but with out cams i dont think your going to make 500. IF you want it to be tame and have good street manners we can do a regrind that will pick up the power but still have a great idle

FTW Purple fuel is a MTBE Fuel thats where most of its gains come into play. its oxygenated with additives that are being disclosed. lots of ppl guess it has nitro but thats not the case. If you want to know more there is a pretty big thread on Honda-tech talking about the fuel. its gained over 100whp on boosted cars.

sounds pretty awesome. And these gains can be your to, for the low low price of $15/gallon im assuming, lol.

haha your way off FTW purple is 154.00 for 5gallons, its expensive but it sets apart the ppl who are winning and who are losing

Assuming 85% ethanol...

I can tell you the oxygen content of pure ethanol is about 34.7 percent.
Carbon: (2)x 12amu + Hydrogen: (6)x1amu + Oxygen: (1)x16amu = 46amu

(16 oxygen / 46 total) x 100% = 34.78..%

So it really depends on what's in the other 15%; But it shouldn't ever be lower than 29.75% ish lol

Really depends on what other alkanes they throw into that last 15%

So let me guess, you need a seperate tune for FTW on a boosted car? I guessing it's a big hell yes!

I just posted a min ago that we have hit over 500 on a Stock short block with heads and cams. How ever that was only with the stage 1 heads. We have not run the stage II stuff on a stock short block NA
Don't know if I missed it, but was that with the JPC cams or the Comp cams?
