Hard to see unless you zoom, but I started changing out the black oxide arp hardware to stainless steel. I grew tired of the black oxide hardware developing rust. I started with the throttle body, waiting on bolts for the IAC along with some other hardware I ordered from Allen’s fasteners.

I am using SS hardware on mine for everything that isn’t critical, damn expensive but I think it’s worth it

I have a friend like that and he owns a tint shop and he said bring the cobra by on a weekend and he will re tint it for free. You're lucky with that because it takes so much time to do a full detail.

As far as what I did on my Cobra today I finished setting up the quick jacks and pulled the saleen wheels off to clean them up. Found a few good and bad things. Good things it also has an upgraded swaybar on the back to match the front one, has a low profile IRS bolt but the bad thing is I discovered that my rear drivers side saleen wheel is bent. It did have a shimmy during the test drive down in VA but I chalked that up to the wheel weights being knocked off. But I do have a wheel repair place close to me so I can have it repaired. I didn't take any pics but looks as though the passenger side front was also repaired previously. I tend to think that these wheels came off a wrecked saleen at one point. These wheels made their way onto the car sometime between 2021 -2023. Also I did confirm that they are the optional 18X10 wheels for the rear. Cool those are true saleens, but it's a shame they look like they came off a car that ate a few cars and coffee spectators.

Hope the wheel repair place took care of you well

Repair came out well, he gave it a passing grade of a 9/10. Drove it today no shakes or shimmy's
Glad they were able to fix it. I bought a set of wheels, and one was deemed "unfixable" by 3 wheel shops haha. I had to source 1 wheel.

That really sucks, must have been really messed up.

Side note. Did drive it today and took it to my friends shop and got the illegal pull me over tint removed. Hes going to redo it later on for me. He also has a sick turbo fox.

Was the tint easy to remove? I've heard that sometimes it is a pain in the butt to remove. Will you go with Maine's legal tint, or a shade darker? When I did mine, I went with a darker than legal tint but not a limo tint.

I'll do it at the legal limit so I can get the certificate that its legal. It came off really easy but he also has all the tools to make it quite easy to remove. The side windows came off really quick and the windshield took a little longer but left very little glue behind to clean up after

That's good that it came off easy. So in Maine they give you a Certificate? Do cops routinely check cars? Just curious. They're not so strict with it here in CT. Same with front plates.

Mostly state troopers, the local cops don't seem to care as much. Yeah you get a certificate showing that the tint is within the legal limit if they pull over for something dumb like that

Around here, they just pull out the tint meter and see for themselves.

I would expect that in MA, but just a tad surprised ME is that strict with tint. I vacation a lot in Maine but don't live there, of course. LOL.

When you get the new tint installed, could you post a couple of photos? Thanks.

Finished catch can install.
That's one that I haven't heard of. Looks good.

View attachment 1831145Hit 140 on the way back home today. Clear roads, straight path…hits it quick and it keeps pulling. I forget how fun this car is sometimes. Glad the weather it turning about here.
I remember back in the day guys were posting 140+ pulls all the time. LOL. Your Cobra looks awesome. Love the stance. What springs are you using?
