That's a thought going back to the 2.3..,,.but damn, I would really like to see you complete this with the 2.65 and new headwork. I think it's going to make huge power. Plus, I see no reason why you can't run gasoline with the 2.65? Might not be as optimal as running gas with the 2.3.....but it could easily be done and be plenty safe for trips with your daughter. If e85 somehow vanished....then ya, the 2.3 all day for primary gas use. But with liquid gold so close, I'd want to see the 2.65 setup end results and then evaluate a move back to the 2.3 if it's just too much top end HP for a street driver.
Put some miles on it over the weekend. Drove it to Vegas and put it in a show. Don't know if I won as I bailed early.
Watched her wondering when I could drive again after popping a ligament on my left ankle and wearing a boot now...FML!
Lol I was a whipple guy but I don't think I could ever do that again. The tvs/gt500 inlet setup is just to well put together. A guy on Facebook was just posting today about his tps sensor breaking on his whipple because the sensor hits his caster/camber plate. He can't turn the sensor to stock location because he's running an iac relocation kit so it won't jam into his ac line. Then the hood rubbing issues, the intercooler line problems, killing lower pulleys and no removable inlet.....i can't do it. It SEEMS like they make great power though.
Looks good Bob! Couldn't help but notice those doors popped up behind you. Never understood the Lambough door craze LOL.
nice. so was it easy enough to swing the a/c compressor out of the way? you did not need to crack open the a/c system, right?
You need to pull the pulley bridge off in order to get the room necessary to do it. Ac and power steering system remained sealed.
Put the MS3 back in and seemed to get it idling decent. Not sure what I did yesterday but now it's reading both widebands. I still need to do the timing check, but I'm pretty happy with it so far. The popping that seems to happen with aftermarket MAF's is gone too.
Spent some quality time yesterday changing the plugs and the supercharger oil. Felt good to chill in the garage and clean some stuff up.
I’m putting the stockers back on with some R888R’s all around Sent from my iPhone using the svtperformance.com mobile app
