Finally installed the MS3 and new widebands. I probably spent more time running wires than actually installing the ECU itself. I did manage to get the car running, but not well. I think there's a communication issue between the ECU and the widebands. Or I messed up something on the wideband install. Hopefully I'll get the car running by Thursday.
I’m not thinking of selling but everything has a price. Send me a message. Sent from my iPad using the svtperformance.com mobile app
I took mine down and put it on the lift to prepare for the head swap. If I was smart I'd wait a few months until we put the addition on the shop and I had 2 more full bays to work, but I'll make do.
I really should have waited until after next weekend to swap ECU's. I messed with the MS3 some more today, but something isn't communicating correctly. I might have to swap the stock ECU back in later this week.

I love a fast car like most on this site. However, this right here is why I have tried to steer clear of modifying my cars in my older years. My brother always said that modifying is part of hot rodding. I always told him that if it doesn't bolt on or work properly after being installed I don't want it LOL. The aftermarket has done a great job. I remember back in the day having studs on my heads. Then I needed to grind the header flange to get them to fit. Was motivated to do that back then. Not really interested these days. Even though headers are a direct fit these days, putting long tubes on a Cobra you still need to drop the K-Member. Too much work, time and effort. No thank you LOL. I wish you luck on your electrical issue Bob. I hope you get it figured out in the end. I know you will...…….
Nice! That's going to be very interesting with the 2.65.....I think that's just what the doctor ordered to really make it shine How far are you planning to rev it?
I know it's not a Terminator, but went with my Dad to start up his 57 T-Bird and take it for an oil change this weekend. Needs to be washed...…… Man this car is hard to drive. Was made for someone 5 FT tall LMAO!!!
Nice Glenn always loved that baby bird style. I couldn’t fit in one 6ft 4. It was hard enough when The retro birds came out and I drove a few of those when I worked at the dealer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, I'm 6 FT and barely fit Patrick. I can imagine being 6'4" and trying to get in it with the top on. They had to get the shortest guy at the oil change shop to drive it into the bay LOL. My Dad was following me and said he was laughing at me because I was all hunched over trying to drive it LOL. So, I like looking at it, not driving it so much LOL.
I knew going in I should have waited. But I was blinded by wanting to be able to play when I'm around the other Mustangs in Vegas. Thankfully I have the option of going back for now. Once the weekend is done I'll have plenty of time to figure things out. My son drove my grandfather's 57 T-bird to a show earlier this year. That was fun to watch.
Yes lol with the retro birds if they had the top down my line of sight was at the edge of the windshield so I either looked over it. Or crouched and looked under. I hit my head a few times on the hard tops getting in and out. Did the whole Tommy Boy son of a, lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Who knows I keep going back and forth. I've thought about going back to a 2.3 tvs and running gas with the option to run e85 because I want to be able to take my little girl and go on some trips. Then I went from the closest e85 station being 25 miles away to one being 2 blocks away and 3 more new pumps in surrounding cities. So maybe I will push the car, lol. With my daughter being 2yrs old the terminator is the only safe fun car she can cruise in for the next few years.
